Check for loose threads or fluff in upper tension unit and bobbin case tension gauged to 14g resistence. Otherwise, service time I'm afraid. Have it serviced by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Service Technician. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Why is my bobbin thread is showing while embroidering

Your tension on top can be loosened. If this causes your stitch to be too loose then tighten your bobbin tension. Just think of the top and bottom tensions as a tug of war. They must be even to get the stitch in the middle of the material.

I have a singer Futura CE-250. I am having problems with the tension I think. While embroidering the top thread is showing completely on the underside of the material. In other words the bobbin thread...

One of the things they don't really tell you about embroidering with the singer machines is that you really do need to use the same color in both the bobbin and the top. No matter how much you adjust the tension, you will still end up with some of the thread from both showing through on the other side, unlike with most other machines.

I found this out from a Singer technician about 3 years ago when I had the same problem with my CE 150 and was going nuts! He worked with both Singers, Vikings and Huskvarna's. and saved my sanity after demonstrating a lot of technical stuff that basically showed me why Singers did this.

Save your sanity-just bite the bullet and use the same thread in the bobbin as you do in the top.

My Husqvarna Rose has been "professionally" cleaned and now the bobbin thread makes a big glob on the underneath side when embroidering with the hoop. They say that they see nothing wrong when returned. I...

Check the upper tension unit to make sure you don't have any loose threads or fluff in the unit causing the tension not to hold taunt when the needle enters the bobbin area. Otherwise, find another dealer for service. I own a husqvarna viking rose sewing machine. The tension when embroidering wants to make the thread break when it moves to a different part of the design. What can I do?

Sounds like tension issue. You might want to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Mc 5700 problem

Hi,

You don't have much info here to go on. I take it that it embroiders fine otherwise, ie on the built in designs. Is it a Janome card? Does it do it on a particular card / design? Have you changed the bobbin thread that you use? Check the top tension - even though it is 'automatic', it does require adjustment at times. Have you changed / using stabiliser that you use? Is the bobbin correctly threaded?

Check these things

Bobbin Thread

I have had the same problem. I always just used the same color of bobbin thread as on the top. It is a pain to change inbetween each block, but the designs usually look perfect. I will have to try playing with the tension.
