Lost wireless capability

My computer no longer has the wireless info in it. Computer was redone because it crashed and some how the drivers (I guess) did not get back in so I can go wireless. How can I fix this? Went to acer website and can't find any info. In my computer for connections it only show local connection no wireless. Help

Computer crashes

A few things can cause this.
  • Shorted wireless card
  • Weak power plug/connection
  • Weak regulator (inside the computer)
  • Hardware driver issues. You should get a blue screen
Having done a restore eliminates the bad driver really. So we should expect one of the others. If it is a weak power supply, connector it should shutdown when using the cd drive
Try another wireless card if possible.

After you restore your computer, you must also reinstall the drivers for things like your wireless receiver. This is found on the Drivers disk, also gotten with your computer. Follow directions to recover all drivers are found on the disk.

Installed win xp pro x64 onto nascar notebook and all drivers were lost.

You will have to go through each drivers website and get the Windows XP 64 bit drivers.

Here is Neros website:

If the CD that came with your computer isn't working you will probably have to purchase a new one.
