No input signal message and screen goes black

Check your video cable going from your monitor to the pc. If your trying to use more than 1 monitor, is your video card capable of using more than 1? Are you using the mother board video card or a store bought one?

I have no signal on the screen, but does through the vga port. what it could be?

Check the choosen video input on the monitor to match the used one. Check the video cable for bended pins. Check with other monitor if there is a signal from the videocard. Check if you have connected the monitor to the right video connector, I mean, if your motherboard has integrated internal video and also there is another videocard, usually there is no signal on the internal one. Check the monitor with another computer to see if the problem is with the monitor. If the monitor is faulty, open it and check for inflated capacitors on the power supply board. Replace all of them if so. Check the buffer transistors between the video connector and the processor on the signal processing board.

My 2207 montor only has one half screen

The problem is in the main board attached behind the LCD panel, the video signal enters the main board and is processed and distributed to the display panel, any problem that developes there is not cost effective to fix, it is far cheaper to replace the monitor than having it repaired.

You will need to check for any pico fuses that run along those capacitor lines they may be marked as pf or nf on the pcb

NO video input philips 180p1

Hello there:
This normally means that the cable that goes to the computer from the monitor is not getting any signal from the video card
This is due to a couple of possible problems
the graphics card is not compatible with the monitor
Or the graphics card is faulty or dirty and needs to be removed and cleaned with rubbing alcohol and than reinstalled
I would first try this on a different computer to see if the monitor now works if so han you know you have a graphis card problem but if it does not work than you know that the monitor is the one with the problem
It may have a faulty controle circuit on it and needs to be serviced or jut simply replaced ok
If you do take the video card out of the computer Unplug the power supply to the computer than remove the power supply cord to the mother board and press in on the power button for 1 minute this will release any esd (electrical static dicharge) that is built up during operation than attach it back on the mother board and continue to remove the graphics card and make the replace ment or repairs needed ok
I hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards michael

My monitor is connected, as is my graphics card, but when I turn my computer and my monitor on, it says that there is no input signal.

Hello there:
I would start by trying a different monitor to eliminate the possibility of a faulty monitor.
if nothing happens you are going to need to investigate the video card. you can turn off the computer and open up the case and remove the power supply to the motherboard cord.
now remove the video card from the board and check to see that it isn't damaged or dirty . you can try to put it into a different slot if you are able to. now just hook up the powersupply cord back up to the motherboard and hook up the monitor to the computer and power up the computer than the monitor and see if it works if still nothing than i am sorry but you will be needing a new video card ok? i really hope that this is very helpful
best regards mike

Does the led on front of the monitor stay blue or does it become amber ?
If it becomes amber, then you are not getting a signal.
No harm in trying this : You can try to see if it is a contact problem.
With the monitor unplugged.
Use a small paper clip to run in and out of the blue vga plug holes a few times each to make sure they are not plugged or gummed up.
If that doesn't help and you know that your video cord is good, then I am afraid to say that more than likely there is a problem with yor video card.

If it stays blue then the signal is there but the screen isn't fully lighting up, leading to a failing power-inverter board or a bad bulb.

Flat screen monitor comes up with No Signal

If it goes to NO signal again, its not necessarily the whole Flat screen that is dead. Just replace the Video logic board with a known good one and it should work

Most monitors only have 2 or 3 boards
Logic board, Inverter, Power supply
or Logic video ,and a power supply board with an embedded inverter.

You have to open the monitor and replace.
