Are we talking the studs that come out of the door, so that the handle can be attached via the hex set screws? If that is the case you will need to improvise or spend alot of money. Go to hard ware store and find suitable replacement studs. Drill a pilot hole. "You can do it!"
If your unit has the mini handle on the top right or top left gently lift and swing the door open. If you have the lone horizontal handle on the front of the freezer door it just pulls open and slides out.
If this is a NEW unit... you must remove the shipping tape from the door (2 to 3 places) to get it open.
If you look under the the handle you find a very small hole and inside that hole is a very small allen setscrew a allenwrench just loosen it and put back on and retighten the allen setscrew.
look for a small hole on one side of the handle. There should be a set screw there you can tighten. (the handle attaches to a ball shaped peg under the handle, and does not attach from the inside of the door)
it is much better to remove the complete door instead of handle . there are 4 screws inside that will release the complete door . if your want to do the handle use a credit card and insert it between the handle and door to release . but if stainless it some times leaves marks on door . i always remove the doors as one door is ever and i mean very costly.. mm hope this helps mm feed back pls ..
You cant find a hole to insert screw from outside. It is true, and you can't fix it yourself to what it looked like earlier. The company first screws in through the handle and then covers the hole made by it with the material of the handle. If you have to fix it yourself, you can only pierce those screws through the handle leaving the mark behind. If you don't want that, contact your company or dealer.
Hi, Please get me the model # from the label inside the refrigerator and I will look this up for you. Most handles have a set screw that tightens down.
I may need to know your model # from the sticker inside the fridge to view a diagram but usually there is are small set screws (usually 2) on the handle which are allen head that can be tightened. Look for this first and let me know if there are no set screws. If this is your setup then I would appreciate a solved rating.
