Ok. First thing, remove the battery and the power cord. Make sure you have backed up all your important information. Then, get a set of phillips screw drivers and a small flat head screw driver.
Flip your laptop so the bottom of it is what you see. With the keyboard/touchpad area facing towards you, look at the cover on your left hand side with a rectangular shape (next to it, above it, is another one square-shape. Just for reference). Loose up the two screws that secures the hard drive/bay cover against the laptop and slide the cover out towards the outside of the laptop itself. If it is sitting tight, use a pen tip or the flat head screw driver (just be careful while using this one not to scratch the plastic of your pc) to push it gently. The Hard Drive comes attached to the hard drive cover, so be careful to pay attention not to damage the cover component. Remove the hard drive and secure the new one in place. Now do this steps the opposite way. Good luck, hope it helps.
