Question about Televison & Video
I have just set up my new sony lcd tv, and dont seem to be getting a very good picture.
the faces seem to be sometimes slightly pixelated and the rest of the screen smotimes a bit blurry. i have the same problem running the tv through my sky media box, and also the same is happening on a dvd
What kind of cables are you using? Make sure you get the HDMI cables. Also, the S and V Sony series only have a refresh rate of 60Hz, which means that when you get fast action scenes or when people are moving, you will see a very noticeable blur. There really is nothing you can do about this. I had a V series and immediately returned for a W series, which has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Sometimes, you can still see the pixelation, especially if the TV can't handle the response time, but it is definitely less noticeable than the other series.
