Mp3 got wet in the rain can no longer works at all. just get a white screen and can not charge it

GoGear device (assume SA6025) got washed in the laundry machine. Culprit reports having pressed several keys, display shows tiny droplets.
I am storing the device in a dry warm place (jeans pocket) for a while to remove humidity, will then retry.
Any hints on disassembly would be appreciated.

Dear beckiedadd

You should have let it untouched for 2-3 days for the water droplets to get dried on the inside part of it. But since ur getting a blank screen, this clearly indicates that u have spoiled the mp3 player. Try to open up the mp3 player and clean the droplets. And finally charge.

My philipps 2gb mp3 doesnt turn on any more (didnt use it in long time). maybe got wet, because was at window when raining. can you please help me?

Maybe you did get it wet..
Maybe it has run out of battery..
Try connecting it to Itunes.. and restoring it back to its original settings.. it happens to me ALOT.. as long as you have all of your songs saved on Itunes.. you can just sync them back on when it has restored it.. If it doesn't connect then.. i'm guessing you got it wet.. take it back to the shop and pretend its faulty.. xPP It always works :)

Where to download philips media converter?

Just FYI, that link no longer works. You have to go to Philips' main page and go to "software and drivers".

This is not a solution to fixing the mp3 player, but I no longer need assistance, I returned the product for a refund.

Charging battery

you might have a faulty charger or the battery just won't charge , if you can exchange it back at the store I would do that , but otherwise the charger would have to be tested and the battery , and if those are ok then something is wrong in the mp3 player

Nothing works

Does it say Philips and then go dark? If so, try pushing the reset button. Mine did this yesterday, because I did a complete erase. I had to push the reset a couple of times, then it started working again. I'm back in business, and listening to my songs as I type this.

Is your battery charged fully? Did you let it charge via your computer?
