Question about Lexmark Color JetPrinter Z23 InkJet
My Lexmark Z23 printer has been stored in a closet for about a year. When I got it out this week, it will not work. I know it is receiving power because there is a red light behind the cartridges that is on. The light beside the power button does not come on. Is there any hope?
Some..not much perhaps..there's no reason why leaving it in a box would make it not work. However, there are stranger things that happen. Make sure that all the covers are closed securely, as some have interlocks that make it not work, when not securely closed. Try opening and firmly closing(no slamming mind you) the top cover once or twice)...when you open it, make sure there is nothing(like bugs, for instance, from storage) interfering with the latches and seamless connection of the cover.
