Very bad hiss even when power is turned off and battery is removed
When the receiver end is correctly plugged inti my sony HVR z1 XLR input ...there is a very bad hiss even when power is turned off and battery is removed . I have used another signal cable from the reciever and xlr input of camera.. I have tried another same model camera unit ..and there is still very bad hiss

I have a sony z1 when i use a mic on input 1 the sound come with a huchhhhhhhhhh and when i use line the sound is good only in input 1 the problem is some one said to me maybe the problem from the ampli on input 1?

Assuming it is programmed correctly, it is a weak, undercharged or bad battery. Transmit takes a lot more power than receive. A beep or no transmit, even if the Transmit light comes on can still mean the battery condition described.
There are any number of reasons for no sound. I will assume you're using new batteries or fully charged batteries. The simplest reason is that a wire has become disconnected from the speaker. This would make the radio sound the same on as off. To test this see if the radio has a way of turning the squelch off, sometimes a simple push button, sometimes a menu setting, sometimes a dial to adjust the squelch setting. If there is no hissing, sometime very loud so turn your volume down first, then either the audio output amp is dead or a wire to the speaker is broken or disconnected. I today's radios the audio amp is most likely a simple small IC but, it could be inside an all-in-one chip and if it's proprietary getting the chip could be a problem. If it's a simple audio chip you'll have to find a replacement or rig up another audio amp IC to work as a replacement. Let's hope for the simple broken or disconnected wire which should be easy enough to fix.
Now, if when you remove the squelch you hear the hissing but you still cannot hear transmitting from your other radio, it could be that the one transmitting is in fact NOT transmitting an not that the other radio cannot hear. You have checked that both radios can or can not hear someone else's radio right?
Assuming you do know that one radio cannot hear what the other can and make no sound other than hissing when the squelch is off the problem is either in the RF or IF sections of the radio's receiver. In general this used to be a more complex repair so let's go another easy fix by going to the very first place the RF comes in, the antenna.
Just like the audio section when a speaker wire is disconnected sometimes the wire or trace going to the bottom of the antenna can become disconnected or broken. To check this bring a good transmitting radio very close to the one that hisses but does not hear the transmitting radio and see if any place as close as you can get the two radios causes the non-hearing radio to hear the transmitting radio. If so, then look for a problem with the antenna connection.
If none of these easy things bring the problem to heel then there's probably something amiss in the RF or IF receiver sections. If the radio has one or two chips that do all the work here then see if you can get both and replace them. I haven't even taken apart my own small FRS radios to see how complex the receivers are in these so I won't go any further than that since I simply don't know your radio.
The units receiver is "opening" this is either caused by a strong signal nearby or the receiver is failing (many of these radios suffer from bad capacitors) However you might get it to stop by setting a privacy code to "close" the receiver check the documentation to try setting a code this might get you by.
It is possible you have one rechargeable battery pack getting weak. Try swapping the batteries, and see if the problem leaves, or changes to the other radio. Typically when batteries start to go bad a common sign is hiss, static, no transmit, or intermittent transmit.
If you do find it is a battery problem, then check your chargers. You could have one charger causing the problem, or simply dust/debris on the charge contacts. This can happen from hand oils getting on the contacts, and then over time dust accumulates and creates a barrier between the charger and the radio. These can be cleaned with a pencil eraser.
Always be certain the radios are turned off when on the charger.
If the battery and/or charging set up is not the problem, then you have a radio problem. If it is the radio, you will likely need to replace it. Parts and schematics are not available for this model.
The MU22 will not do what you are attempting to do. You can't put in a control voltage on one end and have it come out on the other. 2-way radios Tx and Rx (communicate) using audio signals. The speaker output and audio input are audio signals, not DC voltages or control voltages.
A radio can be used as a remote control method, however, a conversion needs to be done on both ends. Example: Turning a lamp on, at the Tx end you would have a converter which will take a control signal and convert it to an audio tone. On the Rx end (the lamp) there will be another converter, this converter listens for the correct tone and when it gets the correct tone, it turns on the lamp. This example is what you call tone-remote control, which is one of the most common methods for using 2-way radios for remote control applications.
There are other methods for remote control such as telemetry. Keywords to google would be telemetry and tone remote control.
Check the input voltage into the radio while in transmit. The voltage maybe dropping as you go into transmit which causes it to drop into receive. That in turn allows the voltage to come back up. With your finger still on the PTT it tries to transmit again, etc. This could cause a feedback squeal and other symptoms.
That radio has two features that may be the problem. The first is battery save mode. The second is a "CTCSS" quieting system (which this model has). which keeps the radio from hissing when another radio isn't sending you a signal. We all know that sound. Old T.V.s made the sound when you were tuned to a channel when the transmitter was off the air.
