Nissan Serena side door won't open

Hi guys, I have a 7 seater 1992 Nissan Serena and the side door was working fine. After closing it I was hearing some sort of lock working inside for 1 or 2 seconds. The door won't open now and I suspect that this lock got stuck or stopped working in ''lock position'' and won't release the door. If this is the case, is there any immediate solution, maybe a fuse that needs replacing or something? Help would be much appreciated.

I have this same problem. Everything looks fine upon removing the door panel. I was wondering if it was a problem with the soft-closing mechanism also. don't know if there is a fuse for the door?

Well you need to take the door apart and re hook the lock bars there are 2 of them 1 on lock and 1 on pull handle from time to time they do fall off

buy a chilton or ahayes book and follow the instruction

Nissan Serena sliding door is jammed shut
The electric motor is designed to release if you try to open it by hand, chances are the lock assembly has come apart in the door, and it is usually a $2 plastic clip that causes hours of frustration. to get to it you would need to pull the inner pannel off the door.

Where does the coolant go in my nissan serena.
The container you are talking about is called the overflow reservoir and yes, that is where you add the coolant. Make sure that your car has been off for a couple hours and is nice and cool before you try to add any, when it's hot it can build pressure and spray coolant or steam out when you unscrew the cap.
