Question about Televison & Video

Goodmans LCD TV GTVL32W8HD

Stand by light is flashing and unit will not turn on or do anything else. Was working fine last night and nothing unusual happened last night like electrical storms etc. From what I have found on the net it might be a power supply issue. Is it possible to get this repaired or are parts impossible to source. I live in UK

Goodmans LD3265D1 TV won't switch on.

use a freeview box, turn the dtv off in the menu

To get it too power on press the source button a lot after a (good) few trys your get it up on another source, my own tv does this and using a freeview/freesat box makes it use-able just a pain to turn on in the first place even if you turn the dtv off in the menu

If anyone knows how to get it to turn on stright to another source would be great to know how

Last night the tv was fine i turned it on this

Unplug 20 minutes. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the set.

Try with the original manufacturer remote to view setup menu.

Power outages come at night. This sometimes resets the TV and other devices. .

I cannot tune my goodmans gtvl19w17hd tv

If you have sound, then your tv doesn't need tuning. Shine a bright light onto the screen, can you see a very dim picture? If so, your backlight has stopped working. This is almost always due to the inverters failing and can be repaired.

My sony trinitro wont turn on, the stand by light flashes 4 times

the four flash is a signal, it means either faulty power supply or deflection circuit trouble.
