Question about Buffalo Technology (WYR-G54) Router
If you know how to access the configuration page of your router, change your channel and check also your distance from the router itself.

You may simply have incompatibility issues, there now where near as problimatic as they used too but still exists. First off make sure that when you try to connect that you have the right security settings, (if used the disk from the router or had somebody install it you should have written it down). When configuring your router always do it with a hard wire connected so as you don't drop yourself every time you change a wireless setting.
Take your laptop to a free wifi hotspot as way to make sure that your wireless card actually works. But if you can see your network it sounds more like a security setting issue.
