When I plug my mp3 in it says found new hardware, but I cannot seem to download any songs to my mp3. How do I download a song? Its very frustrating and confusing as I am not really good with computers.

    Thankyou.

Hi, you can try to upgrade the player's firmware, you can download it from the RCA Website (mp3 player - moz-screenshot.jpghttp://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads.aspx?product=187), the firmware it's the second app listed.
If your computer doesn't recognize the player, you'll have to turn it off and keep "PLAY" pressed for 10 seconds while connecting it to the USB port, then update the firmware.

Cant get my computor to recognise my mp3

Hi ebowes007
Try this solution to your problem.
Go to Device Manager
To get to Device Manager you will:
Right click on My Computer>Properties>click the Hardware Tab>Device Manager.
After you are in Device Manager look for your MP3 player or Unit.
Here you should see no "Yellow" exclamation points.
If you do they they are telling you that you have a device conflict.
If you currently have your unit plugged in, you may notice the "unknown device" which would be your Player or Unit.
If you unit has an exclamation point by it, then you will need to click on it and delete it.
After you remove all devices with conflicts then click on refresh and search again for your MP3 player/Device.
The computer should install your device this time and solve your problem with connection of the MP3 player/Device.
Please take time to rate me.

How do i get cd music onto mp3 from computor

You can convert songs from a CD to MP3 just by "ripping" with Windows Media Player (not sure if Itunes will) or similar programs, like Audacity.

You then copy the music you got from the CD and copy that to the MP3 player after plugging it into a USB port. When the MP3 player is plugged in, you should be able to access it and copy to it.

Cant put songs on

You need to be a little more specific. Your computer says it can't read the MP3 player? Do you mean Windows Media player says that or what? What is the actual error you get, word for word?

My mp3

Check the Device Manager for any errors. With the mp3 player connected, Right click on My Computer, select Properties, then select Hardware Tab, the Device Manager button. Inside the Device Manager look for any RED or YELLOW errors, if there are any errors with the devices' name, right click on it and select un-install. Unplug the device from the computer, then reconnect. This will re-install the drivers ans should solve your problem. Best of Luck.
