Open the saved document then click file print. Then when the print page comes up on your screen set the printer to print to as Microsoft Document Writer. Which is a virtual printer. Then click print, save the file on your computer either my Documents or on the Desktop. Click print.
It will then print your document to a file.
This file can then be attached to an e-mail.
Let me know how it goes!
Clean the pickup roller with a damp cloth, check whether transfer roller under toner cartrige rotates freely. Check if the size of the loaded paper is the same of the document in the application, i.e. if you print on A4, your document should be set to A4. Sometimes you may receive a document by email with different paper format from what you expect. Reformat the document as setting the page size to your loaded in the printer one.
Hi. Here are the steps you need to do to send a scanned document/image using your default email application. Place your orinal document/image on the printer. Using the Productivity Studio software, click email, select the scan type (photo, several photos or document). Click start. Click create email to attach the file to the email message. Hope this helps. There's also a PDF file User Guide you can download from the Lexmark website for your reference. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9gZV0u . Click on the 9500 Series All-In-One User's Guide found below the page. Download the PDF file. Refer to Scanning page for concerns about scanning. Good luck!
file type is probably set to single page. to set the file type to multi page do the following:
1.press the scan button on the op panel
2.select scan setting
3.select file type
4.select multi page multi page to have the entire scan job sent as a single file.
if you are scanning jpeg as file type they will only scan as single page docs only pdf and tiff can be sent as multi page files
Just scan the file, use save as, choose file type, name and then location to save file, to (folder) you created in My Documents ,ie; Temp (folder).Later when sending e-mail attach file to message by clicking attachments browses to My Documents, Temp click file then attach file.It is now attached to your message. If you can save as PDF file do it ,it will be easier for person receiving.Good Luck.
Are you using a custom written language application or are you using an application such as Word?
It appears that you are using a PJL wrapper around the print job. Please create a print to file (off of the driver screen) and send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'll be able to look at the job and see what ie happening.
Right now I suspect that you are not clearing out the PJL properly.
You can use the IP Scanner software to scan the documents from your Bizhub to your pc. Once the documents are in your PC you can take apart which pages you want from the scanned documents and save them to another file and e-mail them through your computer that way.
The simplest and fastest option is to compress the document with either WinZip or PKZip. That compression makes the software ignore the attachment. Both programs are pretty universal so that recipients would be able to uncompress the files at the other end. You can download the programs for free from www.tucows.com. Just search their site for those compression applications. If you are on a Mac, you can obtain Stuffit to do the same thing.
