I have a sunbean intuitive too, and have read about other people having the problem. I think the problem is that when the brewer feels resistance as it compresses the coffee, it decides it must to too dirty and needs a clean. I'm getting it only on the two cup setting (which loads in more coffee grounds causing more resistance). One cup setting works fine. I think the problem is the coffee grounds are too fine, or the sensor is too sensative when it detects the resistance. I suspect mine will be a warranty claim.

Will not process the water to make coffee

the coffe maker might be clogged up so here' what to do: Look through the clear plastic panel on the side of the coffee maker's water tank to make sure that it has water in it.
  • Clean your Sunbeam coffee maker, You can wash the removable filter basket and carafe in hot, soapy water and pour 4 cups of white vinegar into the water reservoir of your coffee maker. Start the brewing cycle with no coffee grounds to allow the vinegar to clean the inside of the coffee maker. Rinse away the vinegar by running the brewing cycle twice with only clean, fresh water.
  • 8 Check the removable filter basket to see if the filter has collapsed if you find coffee grounds in your brewed coffee. If the paper filters collapse often you can wet them before you place them inside the filter basket so that they will stick to the basket and stay in place. or check this link because it might need a new hose. My Sunbeam intuitive Coffee machine keeps telling that my waste container i9s out, when it isnt. What can i do?

We have this problem too. Turn the Intuitive off. Hold down the first 3 buttons to the left (Ok, No. Cups, and next button .. can't think what it is) as you turn the machine on again. This seems to effectively re-boot our machine and the message goes away. Hope this works for you as well.

Miele Coffee maker cva 615 coffee will not come out

The screens that the coffee grinds are squeezed in between are clogged. You need to remove the brew unit, remove the bottom screen, (should be one phillips screw in the center) and scrub the screens clean. You need to clean all of the really fine holes out so that the water can pass through. To prevent this in the future, use the rinse cycle on the machine frequently and also take the brew unit out and rinse it under hot water everytime you dump your waste unit.

Fill er' up, get 2 cups and then stops brewing and just steams like crazy

Sorry to say, this has been a common problem with the FT and IS series coffee makers from Mr. Coffee. Seemingly, no amount of cleaning will correct the problem. If the unit is less than one year old, Sunbeam will replace it free of charge. You will need to contact Mr. Coffee to find the nearest service center. You send or take them the unit, they send it back to Sunbeam, and Mr. Coffee drop-ships a new unit directly to you.
Out of warranty repairs on these units are few. Replacing the element, thermostat, etc.. can correct the problem, but sometimes the problem lies with the control module/ clock assy. Again, neither of these parts are available from Mr. coffee anymore. If your local service center has any new-old-stock of these parts, or any scrap units, they might be able to help you.
