My first suggestion would be to Do a system restore to anytime before you instaled the adobe

go ahead and go to
Start > Control panel > Performance and Maintenance : on the upper left hand side you should see system restore. select a date before you installed adobe.

this should reverse your problem, if not let me know then we can try step 2

Workaround found:
So here is how to configure winXP to enable your webcam at logon and disable it at logoff/shutdown.

Step1: Download devcon from microsoft (http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/1/f/11f7dd10-272d-4cd2-896f-9ce67f3e0240/devcon.exe) and unzip it to a folder, let's say "c:\dev"

Step 2: Identify your hardware id
Open a cmd (start -> run -> type cmd and press enter)
Go to the c:\dev\i386 directory (in cmd type "cd \" -> press enter -> type "cd c:\dev\i386" -> press enter)
Create a file of your hardware id's by executing the line
"devcon hwids * > hwid.txt"
Open hwid.txt(located in "c:\dev\i386") and find the name of your imaging device from device manager and use one of it's hardware id's, from now on refered to as webcamid.

Step 3: copy devcon.exe from c:\dev\i386 to
C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logon
and
C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff

Step 4: the scripts
In C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logon create a webcamenable.txt file with the fallowing line in it
devcon enable "webcamid"
Save and change file extention to .bat

In C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff create a webcamdisable.txt file with the fallowing line in it
devcon disable "webcamid"
Save and change file extention to .bat

Step 5 : adding the scripts at startup and logoff
Start-> run -> gpedit.msc
In User configuration -> Windows Settings -> Scripts(Logon/Logoff) double click on Logon(in the right part of the window)
Add -> Browse -> select webcamenable.bat
Double click on Logoff Add -> Browse -> select webcamdisable.bat

Things should be up and running smoothly from now on :D

You fix it by taking off the panel where the fan is and cleaning that out. I had the same problem and there was about a half inch thick worth of dust totally covering the fan leading out. So no air was getting out. It is a great safety feature that it shuts down so as not to blow the mother board. Now it runs faster and better than it has in a while.

Are you trying to install the full version of Acrobat 9 or are you installing Acrobat Reader 9.
If you want the latest Acrobat Reader then go to the Acrobat WEB site to download, it is a freeware program.

Mouse won't right or double click after Adobe Acrobat Standard 9

it may have just changed your pointing devices
in control panel find pointing or mouse devices open it and in there
you should find where you can check the settings for mouse or change them.
If all settings are intact I would uninstall the adobe and install a previous version
let me know if this helps

Acer laptop aspire 4710z config my notebook have problem

There could be an issue with the user accounts logins. This could be corruption in the OS when you installed it or a clashing driver . I would recommend you reinstall the Operating System with the Disks and before you start installing the drivers try to shut down and see if it shuts down properly . If it does then you know the Operating system and hardware is all fine and can continue installing one driver at a time and shutdown and restarting, continue doing this until you see which driver is causing a confict with your system. I have had a problem similar to this but it was some windows updates pack that I had done one time and had to reinstall windows too and do one by one. Hope my answer gets you closer to a solution.

Wi-Fi drivers for Acer Aspire 4710Z for linux

The drivers for Windows can be used if no specific Linux drivers exist. There's a program within Linux called NDisWrapper which is designed to use the drivers provided for Windows XP in Linux. Refer to your particular distribution of Linux for the details on how to set up NDisWrapper from within your distribution (I've only done it in Ubuntu so have no experience of other distros)
