Saving music to my new memory card

I just bought a new memory card, and when i try to transfer music to it via bluetooth it will not save to the memory card, it just says full because it tries to save it to the phone. How do i get my phone ( which recognizes the memory card, it shows up on the screen) to save to the card?

I have the same problem. My default memory is set to memory card (every picture / video etc goes straight to my mem card) but when I use Nokia PC Suite to move music to my phone it just tries to save it to the phone.

I just ran into the same problem ... Here's what you do:

  • on the phone's main screen, click on "Options" (right button)
  • click on 4 to enter "My Stuff"
  • the display should show you the contents on the phone itself ("On Phone") - on the top right, you should see little tab icons for the phone and the memory card
  • click right, and you will be switching from "On Phone" to "On Card"
  • click on "Options" (left button), then click 5 to enter "Memory Card Settings"
  • click on 4 to select "Bluetooth Visibility", and it should reply with "Visibility Enabled".
You should now be able to see the memory card via Bluetooth, as a folder called "MMC".

You can, easily manage all of this if you use the PC Studio file manger software that you should have with the phone.

Showing not enough memory when music or video file is selected

try to save your music and video files in your memory card. maybe some of it are saved in your phone memory. try to move those into your memory card. or if your had acquired your music/video via bluetooth, try to save that into your memory card and DELETE them out of your inbox. that will solve your problem.

I can't find the option to save my contacts and information to my sim card on the lg Vu. I bought a new cell and I'm trying to transfer pictures from the old cell to new and its not possible.

For your pictures you can transfer them via bluetooth just go to the pictures and click OPTIONS & SEND VIA message or bluetooth OR you can save them onto a memory card by clicking MOVE OR COPY..For the contacts go toMENU-> ADDRESS BOOK and click where it says->COPY ALL CONTACTS-> AND select HANDSET TO SMARTCHIP.

Nokia 6085 won't let me transfer files to my memory card

hi thanks for using fixya!

Usually, if you are going to received files via bluetooth it will ask you where you want to save the file, directly to memory card or phone memory, if the phone is not asking you, it is automatically will be saved in phone memory, you should check the phone's memory, that is why it is not accepting the transfer via bluetooth, Check the settings and make it saved to the memory card.

If you need further assitance, let me know!
