The MP3 has the internal firmware corrupted.
Sorry but at the time, if the MP3 has less than two years, there isn't any solution for your player, it is internally working but if it can't load the firmware it wouldn't boot up.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

try a different USB port on the computer. If that doesn't work, it might for a scan for errors on the hard drive and a drive defrag, in that order.

Digital photo album keychain and cannot figure out how to download photos from computer to keychain...is there suppose to be a cd software with the keychain?

If your computer recognizes the DPA as an external drive you should be able to drag & drop the photos of your choice to the device.

Hope this info was helpful to you. Good Luck!

Not recognized by PC

Same problem with me. Used it consistently for about 2 years but now suddenly neither my laptop not desktop will recognize it. Both running XP. I tried switching to MSC but didn't work, switched back to auto-detect but didn't work.

Does not recognize

The dinging sound is the USB port telling Windows that a device is connected, and does not necessarily mean that Windows recognizes a device.

Are you using Windows Media Player 10 or higher?
