Question about Creative Labs Zen V MP3 Player
This is a common problem with Crative Zen, but not to worry it is an easy fix. There is a lot of bad advice on the Web about this problem and how to fix it. So here is the right way to get your Zen back to working the way it is supposed to.
Get a paper clip or something small enough to fit in the reset hole , now while holding the power on slide button and pressing and holding the play button down simply push the reset and when the recovery mode shows on the screen which it will simply format all and after it formats hit the reboot thenwait till it reboots, now go update your firmware and reload all you MP3's and videos and have a Zen filled day.

If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."
