Sansa e250 formatting and memory troubles

I have a sansa e250, whenever i try to put in new songs, it keeps saying that there is not enough memory, so i tried deleting all the songs from it but that didn't work, so i tried to format it and that didn't work. i tried changing the USB mode, but it only connects when it is on MTP mode, and i cant format in that mode. when i try to connect it on MSC mode, it will start the connected screen but it will say disconnected after 10 seconds and stay on that screen until i disconnect it from the computer, when i disconnect it, it says error and shuts down and restarts itself, please help, i dont know whats going on with my mp3 player.

You should try putting into recovery mode. to do this, connect it to your computer, then push the hold button down so the orange is showing. Next you want to hold down the record button on the side of your mp3 player, now while holding that down also press and hold the power button. in a few seconds it should go to recovery mode. if you need more information, heres a link to the forums. http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board?board.id=e200

MP3 needs to refresh DataBase?

You have to many songs a sansa e 250 only holds a certain amount of space so your best bet is to buy a memory card or delete songs so you can add new ones.

I can't delete songs!!!

Reformat the drive on your Sansa. Open My Computer then right click the drive that corresponds to your Sansa and choose format. It will be the one that says "removable drive". This usually works, just make sure you keep a backup of all your music in case this happens again.

My sansa is messed up

It is referring to the "database", or the menus on the device. (i.e. - songs titles, music, artists) It needs at least 6MB of free space on the device to create this. If you freed up what you think is 6MB, it may not be enough. Even though you have a 2GB player, there is only 1.85 of usable space on it. So try deleting some more tracks. If not, format the device and start over. Right click on the device in My Computer and select format. Best of Luck.
