I have a new L830 and like it. But I use it in my work and need to be able to lower the resolution to less than 1M in order to make electronic transmissions along with reports. I can't see how to lower the resolution so the photos aren't so large. Camera doesn't have an "internet setting". I need to lower image size to say - 640. Any ideas?

1600X900 is a higher resolution than that of 1280X1024. Therefore 1600X900 is a better resolution. If you would like to run at the lower resolution simply right click your desktop screen and click properties. Then on the settings tab use the slider bar to adjust the resolution. Lower to the left and higher to the right. If the desired resolution is unavailable then you could try downloading and installing the latest drivers for your graphics card installed in your computer.
Your card will either be AMD/ATI Radeon or Nvidia. You will need the model number of the graphics card, the latest drivers may increase resolution support for your card.
Also look on the bottom right hand side of your screen for an Nvidia Control Panel logo in green. Right click it and select the option to "change screen resolution" This may provide you with additional resolution options.
convert your video to 3 gp or mp4 format by any video converter while converting set the resolution less than your cell's resolution that is less than 400*240 *best resolution 320*240 use total video converter for best performence u can also use abc 3 gp converter for easy converting
Resolution is determined by the display settings, up to the limits of the hardware. In windows, if you right-click on your desktop and select settings, click the "display settings" tab on the resulting window, you can select lower resolutions (icons etc. get bigger, less stuff fits on screen) if you desire. Be sure to click "apply"
The answer to your last questions are yes. Your old video card may not support so high a resolution and this is causing the flicker. Since you said lowering the resolution fixes the problem this would be the most obvious fix. You can get a new GTX 260 with 216 cores 896 mb RAM for about $165. This would allow you to play any games out there or watch hd without any problems. Just make sure your power supply is in the recomended range and has the required connectors for the card. You can get better than a 260 depending on your budget. Hope this helps.
You need to reset the size of your pictures (to a lower resolution). This will allow the camera to take more pictures (albeit at a lower resolution) per memory card. The less pixels, the more pictures.
First: use a picture management software to resize the pictures to a smaller resolution such as 640x480 pixels.
Second: reduce resolution on camera. The smallest resolution possible is 1024x768 on L200.
To do so in your Samsung L200, press Fn button. Then scrool up or down until you see SIZE on-screen. Press button to right until 1M appears, then press OK.
video card may not be capable of that resolution and color depth, check your video cards max resolution and color depth. I have several lcd monitors that are 1280x 1024 and they do not need drivers to work. the video card must be capable of generating that resolution.
Turn on your camera. Trun the switch on the top of the camera to AUTO. Press the middle button right of the display (x/-). Then you can first change the size (7M, 6M, 5M, 5M, 3M, 1M). If you now use the circle button on the right bottom and on this button you press up or down you can change the quality (very fine, fine, normal). You can change the size and quality if you press left/right on the circle button.
