It keeps turning off when it's not at the cradle.

It keeps turning off when it's not at the cradle.
So, I purchased new battery, but it still keeps turning off.
I suspect that it's not getting power from its battery due to some reason.
Any hint? Where should I go to fix this?

Is the battery got a tight connection to the pins in the device? Try jamming it in with paper. Mine had the sae problem when it tried to use the SD card. When I jammed in some paper to make a closer connection it worked.
