Question about Philips 60P8341 60" Rear Projection Television

No sound i have a phillips hdtv plasma it was working fine last nite then today i turn it on and get no sound

Check your remote to see if it's on mute...or mute is enabled...check your connections from the tv to the cable box...if your using surround sound...check those connections as well...if you have a dvd player..hook it up to the tv and see if you get audio...let me know if this helps...if not i will give you more things to check

WORKED FINE WHEN TURNED OFF, THEN NO SOUND WHEN TURNED ON


1. I would first make sure that correct "INPUT" setting is registered.
2. Try a different input source such as VCR, DVD or CD.
3. Connect a pair of audio RCA cable to all the VIZIO set's audio inputs one at a time and touch the center tip while the set is powered ON and the input is set to the corresponding seting. If audio circuit is OK you should hear a hum with at least one of the input settings..
4. If still no audio, then it maybe the audio circuit board needs to be checked.

Super Nintendo won't show any picture or sound even though it reads a signal.


Try pushing down and back lightly on the cartridge while turning it on.Used to work for me.You can also clean the game contacts with rubbing alcohol.Hope this helps...

It's definitely possible. I'd have it checked by a repair center for something like this.
