    Tango,

Sorry for the confusion. Its a call center chat application. VOIP software platform that allows a customer to route, track and manage calls. As for an exact name. Not sure.... I'm having trouble getting a response from them and decided to give you guys a try. If thats not enough information on the type of call center they are using, I'll have to investigate further. Any insite to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated. As I said, when I launch their chat session which also allows me to be available to take calls, a message pops that states I'm not assigned to chat channels. The process is like this: I launch chat and then get: 1. connecting to chat network, 2. Connection complete, contacting login source, 3. login complete, entering chat rooms, 4. Attempting to connect to call router, stand by, and finally, 5. Not assigned to chat channels. contact call center administrator. Now, I am using a wireless router, do you think it has anything to do with that? Thanks

Angelface....

You're confused and I'm confused. It's terminology and some missing information. First are you using an ICQ type chat application or are you using a full blown call center chat application.....if the former your problem is relatively simple. If the latter (based on how good the help dialogue is) it run from easy to hard. Need the name of the application to be able to give you a path to follow to fix it. Tango

How do i close google down as i kep getting messages when i open computer up to say restore as it had not closed down

If when you go on the internet using your browser it keeps asking you to restore last session because it shutdown improperly (or something like that). All you have to do is hit the "x" at the top right of your browser before you shutdown your computer.
That should stop you from seeing the restore previous session message.

Hey my internet explorer opens but pops a message that says "restore my last session" or "go to homepage" either one i click, the program stops responding any ideas?

Well, first of all make sure you have Internet Explorer 8 or vers. 9 if you want to test the Beta out.
Then, I would click on the (x) rather than the 'restore my last session' if encountering that choice.

How do i enable cookies on my computer? and i have java instaled but some games and videos wont play on the computer?

I assume you want to enable Cookies in Internet Explorer (Different for Firefox, googlechrome, etc..).
Open the Internet Explorer, click "Tools", then "Internet Options" and on the Internet Options dialog box, click "Privacy" tab and then click "Advanced" (circled):

Now in the Advanced box, select the "Overwrite automatic cookie handling"

Again, select "Always allow session cookies" [note: by default, both the options should be set as "Accept"]

When I go to download adobe or anything the computer shuts out of internet explorer, then when you click on the internet it says restore session. What is wrong with the computer?

There's nothing wrong with the computer. But I'm suspecting that you have a corrupted Internet Explorer. Try to optimize the browser by deleting the Cookies and Temporary Internet File. Please follow the steps below:

1. Run Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools > Internet Options...
3. Click the Delete button under the Browsing History.
4. Select Cookies, Temporary Internet files
5. Close and re-open the Internet Explorer

If same problem occured, try using Mozilla Firefox. If the issue would be resolved in using Firefox, then the Internet Explorer is corrupted and needs to be updated.

Have a great day!

Keep getting message ''runtime error, do you wish to debug''

After much searching, this has worked. Even though it WAS in AOL, it was the settings changed in IE that made it stop. Here is what I did.
  • Go to Tools and Internet Options in Microsoft Internet Exporer
  • Click on the Advanced Settings.
  • click the Disable script debugging.
  • click the Disable the script error notification box.
  • Save changes and relaunch your browser

Hi sorry about the chat session the other day, i was not able to see your chat message so I end the session, but to help you with your concern, since internet is already working, then the problem here is the VoIP settings on your modem (since you said it has phone ports on the modem), usually resetting the modem wont change the VoIP (Voice over IP) settings. It would be better if you ask you VoIP provider to check if the modem's VoIP settings is setup correctly. If yes, and you have internet with the modem then upgrading the firmware may help.

If you dont have a VoIP provider then you need to get one in order for the phone line to work.

If you already have one, then contact them so they can configure the VoIP settings on that modem.Get your money's worth with their service
