My DS also won't read my action replay DS, nor will any other nintendo ds read my action replay either what do i do

  • Jesse1227 Dec 03, 2008

My action replay ds stopped working after i accidentaly autosaved my action replay without the device being all the way in the ds. That's because my modified wrist strap got in the way. Directly after i turned my DS one and off to attempt the reset combination, but my ds wouldn't read it. Now my ds won't read my AR ds, and i've also discovered that my sister's ds won't read the AR either. I've tried the reset combination like 10, but my action replay won't even load to the li endorcement or main screen. In actual fact this is the second time this happened How can i get it to work again without having to replace it?

just bought a action replay for my son. worked fine for 1 week. now it just says no ds card found. insert card. need help, what to do

  • Saruwatari Mar 29, 2009

This has happened with every freakin AR I've bought, we fixed it one time but we have no clue how. I put the AR in my DS, I start it up, it goes to the AR menu, I start up the Code Maneger, IT SAYS THERE'S NO DS!!! WTF do I do?! And don't say I have to tap on the mouse in the AR menu, I already tried that.

  • Anonymous Apr 02, 2009

Yeah, whenever I connect my DS to my PC via the provided USB wire, and then start up Code Maneger on my PC, I usually click on "Quick Update" but then it specifically says, "You need to connect your Action Replay before it can be updated." I don't get it at all! It just never works.

When you turn on the action replay and see the logo, hold down start & select then turn off your ds. turn it back on, but when you see the ds logo, hold down a&b. then it shows the action reply. your action replay is reset so now, update it with the code manager.

try to reset it.
  1. With your console powered off insert the Action Replay DS
  2. Hold down buttons A+B
  3. Turn your console on
  4. With A+B still held down, as soon as you see the Action Replay DS license screen press and hold down buttons START+SELECT so that you now have 4 buttons held down
  5. Hold all 4 buttons down for around 10 seconds until the Action Replay DS loads to it`s home screen
  6. If Action Replay DS doesn’t hold on the license screen for around 10 seconds when you do this, you may need to turn off and try again

  1. With your console powered off insert the Action Replay DS

  6. If Action Replay DS doesn’t hold on the license screen for around 10 seconds when you do this, you may need to turn off and try again
you can tell if it needs resetting by;
Code Manager PC software is reporting that Action Replay DS does not contain enough free space when it actually contains no codes.
* Code Manager PC software is reporting the console`s battery is low when it’s actually fully charged.
* Multicoloured bars are shown on the screen after you confirm the entry of a game ID when trying to manually enter codes. * You can use the Code Manager PC software without any problems until the Action Replay DS is connected via USB set to the update mode on the console, at which point Windows shows a run time error.

Action Replay Problem

The problem is that the games or the ds action replay game slot is unfunctional. If it is the AR, just start up the action replay and eject it. Then put the game in, and start playing. To enter codes, leave the AR in and enter the codes. after you enter codes, the AR will save atomaticly.

Problems with Action Replay DS

First reset your Action Replay by Holding the A+B+SELECT+START buttons when you start up the Action Replay (and pass the Warning Screen for the DS), the white screen will remain there for a while longer than normal

When the menu screen shows up, let go of the buttons

Now connect your DS to your computer, you should now be able to add codes to your DS
