95 Jeep Wrangler Windscreen Wipers Dont work!

I was replacing the fuses for my jeep wrangler and now my windscreen wipers dont work.

Is this a fuse shortage? if so i dont know which fuse it is! I dont have a key for what each one is.

Any other suggestions on how to fix this?

Very much appreciated!
Regards

Checking fuses is very easy you need a 12volt test light one end you connect to ground good clean metal of car kee on take test light touch the 2 metal pin in the fusespower go trus a good fuses the test light should come on on the 2 side if 1 side light up only replase the fusesand if you think youremove the fuses and didnt put back just put a 20amp fuses in the missing hole 20 amp is a yellow fuses activate our wiper before fill in the holes with fuses if it start good if not put everything on take a screw driver touchthe wiper motor and the body at the same time if it work the wiper motor is not grounded you need to attach a wire from wiper motor to body again good clean metal with screws as long at it tight thank you for using fixya pierre

Hi,

Initially what can be suggested is to try and redo the fuse insertion again but wiggle them a bit when installed. It might also be of help if you spray the insertion points or fuse clips with an electronic contact cleaner prior to reinserting the fuses. In some instances, the fuse clip/holder need to be manually scraped for corrosion or grime/dirt. It is also possible that a wire might have been dislodged that leads to the wiper motor.

Good luck and kind regards.

Front and back wipers are not working

have you checked wiper fuse? start simple get a 12v light tester and open up cowl to access wiper motor then check if power is getting to wiper motor if isnt check and replace fuse, if persists replace wiper relay, then check to see if power is getting to wiper motor if it is and still no wipers you need wiper motor its simple start at fuse check it then move to relay check it and move to wiper motor check it and your done!

Wiper stopped working

Ouch, what a pain. Silly question, but did you check the polarity of the battery? The other thing to check would be fuses. You have to watch out when you connect the battery terminal, that spark can cause damage. It is best to use a resistor to prevent the spark. Those 2 things are really the only things I can think of.

Wipers not working

near the fuses usually there is series of relays they are usually square black boxes with three or 4 pins that just push in the wipers use one of these try swapping the wiper relay for one of the other relays some times wiper motors throw in the towel which i hope it isnt the case try the relay first good luck glenn..
