new CX3900 ink CARTRIDGES NOT BEING RECOGNISED BY PRINTER. Just keeps indicating ink error- red light

Go to shop; buy Epson T0731; open packet; Press the change ink cart button on printer, put new cart in; press change ink cart button again. Wait for whirring to stop. Hey presto.
