1. My fridge is making a loud clicking noise at the same time the fan runs.

2. Can't get water or ice (even though there's ice in the ice maker).

We recently changed the filter so we assume it's not a filter issue.

If there is ice in the icemaker and its not ejecting the ice you more than likely have a bad heater in your icemaker not heating the cubes for the rake to scoop them out. No water through the door would probably be a separate issue. If its a GE they are known for poor insulation on the freezer door and the water line will freeze going up the inside of the door. If you remove the kickplate there will be a quick connect coupler. remove it from the line going up the door and call for water. If you get water to this point you know the line is frozen through the door. If not then you will want to check your saddle valve for calcium deposits gunking it up. Least common issue would be a bad water valve.

We have a RQ689N4WF1 Hisense American fridge freezer and it keeps making a loud clicking/clunking noise. Does anyone else have this problem please. This is 1 month old

I bought the same model and it made the same clunking noise you describe. I replaced it and the new one made exactly the same noise. For those of you at fixya this is not a constant noise; it is intermittent and very loud. It sounds like someone hitting a large pipe against metal. This is perplexing.

Refrigerator leaking bad at bottom after manual defrost still leaking

Ah the bottom. The drain pan is overfull and can not Handel the amount of water going into it. Normal running operation will evaporate any water left in the pan. You can pull out the fridge and drain the pan or clean up the water until it stops. Good luck

I've had my samsung bottom freezer counter depth fridge for just over a year and in the last 5 to 6 months it's started to periodically make a very loud humming noise. Should I be concerned that there is...

The freezer compartment fan may have Icing or the motor is going.....Remove the trays and remove the rear cover. The fan and Freezer evaporator are behind that cover.
The fan doesn't run all the time.

If you have an ice maker it too can make buzzing sounds. Just turn off the Ice maker to eliminate it as a source.

Loud noise from freezer of GE model GSF25TGTB (Side by side)

Problems not related.  The first is most likely the fan, or possibly water dripping on to the fan and freezing, but usually the noise comes from the fan struggling to run.  The cube problem could be as simple as the ice dispenser being put back in wrong.  There is a metal lever under the ice tray that switches between crushed and cubed.  Make sure it is seated properly.

Fan started making noise

I have one of these, and every so often, the fan would start making a loud clicking noise. I discovered that if I shut the fridge off for a while and left the door open to defrost it, it'd work fine again for a while before the noise came back. Apparently, some ice was building up between the metal heat-sink and the fan, causing the fan blades to scrape against the ice/frost build-up and make the "tick, tick tick" noise.
There is no compressor in the Avanti EC15W-2 mini fridge. It uses a simple Peltier junction device to transfer heat from the inside of the fridge to the outside/rear of the unit. So it should never get very loud at all, unless one of the two fans in it is acting up in some way.

or there is dust clogging around the pump or fan is not running.

Admiral Refrigerator makes hollow ice

Hollow ice cubes are due to low water pressure to the fridge. Water thru the door should have good pressure behind it. This is a good indicator of water pressure. Should be able to fill a glass quickly. Causes for low pressure are self-piercing saddle valves on the water line (switch to drill type (1/4") valve) or reverse osmosis system or filtering system on water line to the fridge. R.O. systems should not be used. Increase water pressure and that will fix the hollow cubes. The loud noise may be the sound of the water valve on the fridge when it is acivated. This sound is normal and some are louder than others.
