Hi,
i have purchased mt TV model number 32fs4d on 14 march 2007 from Good Guys Highpoint, victoria. and i have already sent my TV for repair for 4 time since august 07. and as if now my TV is again with the company and now as per the company they will replace my TV. But its since 20 days now i have not listen any thing from companies side. everytime i give a call to them they just say we will forward your file to our manager and then our manager will look into this. I am fed up with all this stupid stuff and i am really not happy with LG service. i was just wondering if you can help me out and if you can do something about it .

Samsung tv sound but no picture


Based on the class action suit against Samsung, it's likely the capacitors buldging. My TV purchased in late 2007 was a "victim" and the tv did the turn on/off with no pic or sound. There is a limited number of tv models and now a March 2013 time limit. To see if your TV is one that qualifies for a free inhome replacement, look at these links:

Our TV picture works fine then blacks out with audio continuing to work ok.Now after some time picture works ok for about 20 seconds the blacks out with audio continuing on OK.While we bought this in 2008...


I think you chose a Westinghouse Lemon, go this site and read all of the negative reviews of this model;

"Horrible customer service on a worse television" by westinghousecrap on March 20, 2009 Pros: Good picture once it is properly adjusted.
Cons: Low quality audio, had the TV for 10.5 months and the picture went out, sent the TV at MY expense to TX, and I've been waiting for 2 months, and customer service can only say that there is a "delay". And they don't send a new TV, it's a rebuild.
Summary: Please don't waste your money on this TV, spend a little more on a different brand and save yourself the headaches I've had. I'll never purchase a Westinghouse product again. Customer service has been no help, and their answers are vague at best. Learn from my nightmare, NCAA march madness on a old 19" TV because my Westinghouse quit working 2 months ago and they still haven't replaced it.

I would suggest calling 1-888-Best Buy™ or 1-866-287-5555 for Westinghouse Support. Typically televisions become an in-home serviceable item near the 25-40 inch range.

My TV will not work what now


I have just seen this problem - or simmilar. The TV I looked at never showed the DELL logo or any other video. The sound is good , and changes chennel... All seems to work fine, but no picture. Anyway, I have been a component level technician for 18 years. I have TV's sent in by local Casino for repair. I repaired this model and sent back this week. Will need to see how it holds up, but I upgraded the parts - so it should work fine and last longer. I am not sure that all the TV's in this model have the same boards in them. The other Dell TV's I have worked on have the same model numbers, but have different electronics inside. Anyway, this may be a problem that I can repair.
