Question about Compaq Evo N610C Notebook
I have a compaq N620c, which has recently been in the shop for a screen change as my son managed to smash it some how, he has been online with it today but has come in this evening to let us know that the internet isnt working, we have tried setting up a new connections but it is telling us that the card driver isnt there but we have gone into system details and it says that the driver is there and is working fine, we have 3 laptops running from a wireless broiadband and this is working fine, just the problem is with the fixed laptop, but cant understand why it isnt working now, we have even tried a system restore from over a week ago but nothing is working, please help, we are running XP home edition,
Go to Start/Run.. Type cmd in the box and hit enter.. (Command prompt) box shows, Type: ipconfig/release hit enter.(Should show Zeros for adapter). Type ipconfig/renew and enter again see if it detects and works..
Let us know..
