I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (model# 665.16835792). It seems to have completed a wash cycle, but may not have completed the dry cycle, and then quit. Now it displays the number "98" on the front panel. None of the buttons do anything now. Upon opening and closing the door, the display reads "90", but changes back to "98" within 2-3 seconds. I tried disconnecting the AC power source for approx. 6 hours and then reconnecting it, but the problem persists. Any information regarding this will be greatly appreciated.
I have a very similar problem. When I push a wash selection, every light on the panel shows up...and when I push Start, nothing happens. When I push cancel, it trys to drain, even tho no water is in there any more. Have you ever had an answer to your problem?
We have Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard 3, approximately two years old and in my opinion it is a piece of junk. When the little green light goes on to tell you the load is finished and it has barely started, you have to push a series of buttons to clear it and start all over again. The series is: heated dry, normal wash, then heated dry normal wash a second time, then cancel. Now the light is out and you can start all over. There is no rhyme nor reason to when the blasted green light starts blinking in error, but we seem to be good for a few proper washings before it starts again. It cost $60.00 to have a technician come way out to our farm and push this series of buttons to clear the machine. Thank goodness he left us the code. What ****!
The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.
