When i switch on the phone,it works normally,but as soon as i touch the screen with anything,it starts vibrating endlessly after 3 seconds and i am left with no other option but to remove the battery.Please help me out

Editing the Normal - Message Profile
1.Touch >Settings > Sound Profile >Normal. •Touch the name field and not the radio button to the right.
2.Touch drop-down menu (upper-right of the screen) and selectMessage.
3.Touch the Message Alert Type field, select one of the following and touchSave: • Melody: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ring tone menu. • Vibration: the phone vibrates 3 times. •Vibration & Melody: the phone vibrates and plays a melody simultaneously. • Mute: the phone is silent and does not play a melody or vibrate.
4.Touch the Message Alert Tone field, touch to select a ringtone and touchSave.
5.Touch the Message Alert Repetition pull-down and select one of the following options and touchSave: • Once: repeats the message alert once. • Periodic: repeats the message alert periodically.
6.Drag the Alert Tone Volume slider to the volume level you desire (range is 1-7).
7.Touch the Vibration Pattern field, then touch to select Vibration 1 - 3.
8.TouchSave to return to the Sound Profiles menu
OK..your touch screen was jammed or not working and you did reset via code *2767*3855# then the phone restarted with the calibration cross....you tapped the cross but nothing is happening.......what to do? first shutdown the phone remove the battery for 30 sec also remove the simcard put the battery again start the phone when the calibration screen pops up tap on the cross here you must feel the tapping is working by feeling a light vibration of the phone.....then tap on the lower bar of the screen which has color (light gray) different than the calibration screen the cross will move to another corner......repeat this for all four corners then you should see and OK on the bar to save and exit to the normal screen........done
The Sound Profile only covers call sounds. Sound Profiles This menu allows you to specify how you are informed of incoming calls. Selecting a Profile 1. Touch ➔ Settings ➔ Sound Profile. 2. Touch the radio button next to the profile name. The selected profile activates. Choices include: • Normal • Silent • Driving • Outdoor Normal Profile The phone’s profile defaults to Normal. Since this is the case you may need to soft reset the phone.
The touch screens normally give problems whenever there is a little pressure applied to its surface e.g when you don't use a pouch but place the phone in a tight jeans pocket and thus will need,screen reallignment.As you may already know.
Now your phone has a soft reset function...try it! Or turn it off,remove the battery (not immediately! so you don't loose your settings then re-insert it after 25 secs.) and do a restart. This should allow you access the screen allignment settings so that you could fix your screen.

Vibrate must be enabled for the profile you are in. You can change profiles by pushing the power button and not holding it down. As far as touch screens go, the Nokia N95 does not come with a touch screen on any version, if you had this capability then you must have a different phone or a fake N95. Hope this helps!
