Question about Nintendo NES Console
Here is a solution I found on youtube. When the cartridge is in, pushed and pushed down, try moving it a little left or right. I myself have games that don't work right if you don't do that.

This sounds like a bad connector or mis-adjusted spring tray. With the cart door open try pushing down slightly on the inserted cart. If you get a picture the tray needs adjusting which would require disassembly. Before you do that grab some RCA cables off your old VCR or stereo and see it the red/yellow jacks on the side of the NES console will give you a picture. You might have a bad video output or RF Switch.
