Once the flame cuts off the heater vibrates

The heater vibrates something awful. It is mounted to the wall securely. I push in on the grill and it seems to quiet it down but will eventually get loud again. Is there any way to stop the vibration as it gets very annoying (especially when you are trying to sleep)!?!?!?

I don't know if it is the blower or if it is the blower making the glass front and grill part vibrate. How can I stop the vibration? Will it operate safely without the electrical plug being plugged in as I assume that just operates the blower.

Thank you

Once the heater reaches the set temperature at the thermostat it shuts off.the flame goes out but the pilot light stays on. the heater will not kick back on automaticaly when it gets cold however it will...

you will have to look into why the unit is tripping and needs resetting. Heaters usually have a fan delay, meaning that when the heat is satisfied, the fan continues to run for about an minute. If not, it could cause an overheating issue and trip a safety. Look for that to start with.

Orange flame and only burning at half flame

That's a nice unit! You need to clean out the jet openings with a very thin piece of wire and, while you are at it clean off the whole grill so that no particles get trapped near the jets.

The williams wall heater keeps tripping the limit switch at the top of the furnace and the vent is clear.why does this do that?

My heater has been doing the same thing. You do not need to remove the grille cover to reset it. Poke a small screwdriver through a vent slot and reset the small red button. Allow the heater to cool off before resetting. When the vent reaches 260 degrees, the switch cuts off the furnace. The solution is to place a fan pointed at the top and side of the furnace so it doesn't get scorching hot. It happened to my furnace continually when a strong, cold west wind was hitting my roof-top vent. When the storm passed after two days, the furnace operated normally again.

When burners come on , the flame floats around for about one minute , then cuts out the burners and pilot.

It appears that you have a draft problem with this heater. too much air causes the flame to lift off the burner or too much gas pressure could cause the same symptoms. check your draft at your burner first just to make sure that it's not open too wide. unfortunately the gas pressure has to be set with a manometer to get the correct pressure. 11.7in. wc for LP gas and 3.5in. wc for natural gas.

How do I lite a wall room heater

First, turn off the gas valve for at least 5 min and ventilate the room. Most wall heaters are lit the same as a water heater. Find a red button to push or turn the gas valve knob to the pilot position. While pressing the red button or the gas valve knob, hold a match to light the pilot flame. After it lights continue holding the knob for one or two minutes. If the flame goes out when you release the knob the thermocouple is probably bad.
