To set Caller ID you need to save the persons name and number within the
PHONE MEMORY, once saved then go to 'My Photos' and select appropriate
photo and select 'Options' then '5.Set As/Caller ID' then search for relative number on the PHONE MEMORY once found confirm it by pressing
left soft key which will save picture to number.
There's a setting under "initial setting", it allows you to adjust the talking caller-id setting on the base station. It bugged me for a while as well....having the base shouting the callers number as I was saying hello.
Try to pull up their info/profile in the contact list of your phone. Once you pull them up, go to "options", then "edit" or "edit contact", whichever option is available on your particular model of phone. Most phones have a space that says "caller image" or "Picture ID". As long as you have one of these options (or one similar), all you have to do is have a picture of that person saved to your phone and select it when you click on the "caller image" or "Picture ID" field in your edit-mode. Hope this helps! Have a nice day!
If you answer the call, the number (or number and name) stays on the display until either you or the caller hangs up.

ID comes with Anonymous Call Rejection, which, when active, allows you
to reject calls from callers who block their number. Your phone does
not ring, and the caller hears a message saying blocked calls will not

there really shouldn't be anything to set up. if you have another caller id box or phone, try plugging that in to the phone jack first checking for dial tone, then the caller id. if neither are working, call your phone company. if only the caller id is still not working, ask your phone company if it is activated.
hope this helps.
Some phones are not equiped to pick up call waiting caller id. check the box or look up your model number on the uniden site. The call waiting caller id only shows up on the phone that is in use at the time of the call.
