You must detach the bottom cover of the base of the microscope by taking off the 4 or 5 screws that keep it attached. That should reveal the wiring to the socket and bulb base.

My father has a 240 and his headlight in the left side doesn't work Great Wall can't fix it so I'm looking for some help the bulb is new and it's getting power right to the bulb do they earth by the body...

Yes. It grounds out to the body and the battery grounds out to the body too. Try running a new ground wire to the frame of the car. Make sure the bulb socket is not rusty or corroded. Make sure the wires are connected good on the bulb socket and that the copper wires are not broken internally under the insulation of the wire.

2005 sportser back tail light not working it not the bulb

Sounds as though you have a broken wire. Check the ground/earth wire is securely fixed to the frame, run a temporary wire from the ground side of the bulb holder to check if necessary. If it still doesn't work, run a live wire directly to the live side of the bulb holder. If either of these fix the problem it will indicate the faulty wire. With a multi meter you can check the continuity in the same way as using the wires. Obviously this assumes the holder is doing what it should.

I have a GE JVM 1870 over the range microwave with the active vent. The interior light is out which is a simply fix. How to I get to it?

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
  1. Light bulb If your microwave light bulb is not working, perhaps it has blown. The first step is to replace the bulb and power on the microwave. If this does not correct the issue, the next step is to check the socket and wiring to verify if that is the problem.
  2. Light bulb socket & main control board If your microwave light bulb is not working after the installation of a new bulb, check the light socket as well as the wiring to ensure they are properly operating. If these sources are functioning properly, the next step is to check for a faulty control board as a possible root cause to your microwave light bulb malfunction.

Passenger headlight has a shortage in the wire. How do I know? The light bulb is not blown per auto mechanic, AutoZone, and by looking at the bulb myself; when I move the wire to the headlight the light...

You can fix it yourself you just need to find out where the shortage is. If its up close to the bulb then its not a big deal to change. Just go to an auto parts store and get a new headlight pigtail for it then splice it in. If its further up the harness it can be a little bit more difficult.

On my 2004 expedition one of the break lights is not working. the parking light work fine, but when I press the break the passenger side break light does not come on. I changed the bulb and that did not...

check the electrical contacts within the bulb fixture for oxidation or damage. Check also the wires and wire harness for damage or connection problems.

My turn signal light is not working on the left side. I changed the bulb, no luck. The message board says "check bulb, F, L.

It's have to do small modification in your light modified wiring can buy through nearest Mercedes dealer it's require to remove signal wire from your light wiring connector and fixed in to new wiring connector and other connection to the body ground wire comes with new holder then fix it in to the light as normal way it will not get problem again modification wiring is not much expensive do the same to other side light too

Acura Legend 1991. trying trying to fix front turn signal..

buy a new one ,or solder 2 wires to the bulb and then join this to the two existing wires of the loom, drill a hole in the bottom of the bulb holder so the wires can run through it so you use the old bulb holder to hold the bulb in place in the light

2002 Chevy Blazer, rear brake lights do not work but the third light above the window does. Replaced bulbs and still not working I have the same problem got a fix it ticket the other.  Did you guys...

Trace the wiring as it comes from the laft and right brake light. May have to remove the brake light covers. Sounds like a crimped or shorted wire leading to the brake lights, possibly a loose or broken ground wire. One of the wires leading from the fuse block to the rear oif the vehicle could also have been damaged if the door sills have been removed by someone earlier to install things like speaker wires, etc. Also check to see if you have tail lights and directional signals.

When you replaced the bulbs did you get bulbs with double filiments - one acts as the tail lights, the other serves as the brake lights (both inside the same bulb). Compare the ID numbers on the bulbs with those which are required for this vehicle, but you should clearly see two different filiments inside of the bulbs when viewed from the side.

Taillights wont work

Replace the "looks fine" bulbs first (cheap fix), then replace the fuses (also cheap fix), if that doesn't fix the problem it could be wiring (may NOT be cheap fix!)....
