Same here. Brand new - my laptop doesn't see it, so charged it on daughters desktop which does see it. Hadn't transferred any music, just selected the demo stuff and it played for about 3 seconds then froze. Waiting for the battery to discharge hoping that frees it up.

First, reset.
If that fails, then try to download the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool from:
http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1532
If that still fails, upgrade the firmware from the Sansa website
If that fails, uninstall the software from the installation CD and reinstall it from the Sansa website.

I was playing a video on my sandisk and it frozeI'm not able to turn off the devise or choose another program

You can't play a video on your Sansa Clip/sansa clip plus (based on pic you showed).
If your device is froze, press and hold power button untile device turn off (about at least 10 seconds); then turn it on and check it. If it's still frozen, turn it off again, plug it into computer and delete the video which makes it froze

Sansa Clip won't charge

Here's the thing, technically it doesn't need to be turned on because it's supposed to turn on by itself.

I've had a problem sort of like that. It might be the plug, but it also might be the computer. I'd either suggest try plugging it into another computer or getting a new plug.

H3y i have a sansa clip mp3 player and i was outside and then it froze and it dont wanna turn on but it is frozin please help me what can i do

Hold in the power button for 15 seconds or longer to reset it. If it freezes again, make note of the track that it froze on, and delete that track (and any others you grabbed from that same source) at your earliest convenience.

Sansa 1g clip wont turn on.

did you try holding the power button on for ten seconds (the reset) after trying to charge it again? does it even power up when you plug it into the usb. if it powers on when connected to the usb and then shuts off immediately when you take it off the usb (rather than "refreshing database") then your battery is either 1)disconnected inside 2)dead or there may be issues with power management. Same thing happened to me (disconnected) but I soldered the loose connection and it only worked for two days, even checking the connections again. Now I don't know what's going on. It's more likely the battery has reached the end of its life.

Sansa Clip does not show up on computer

I had the same problem all you've got to do is first turn on the sansa clip. Then go to settings. After that scroll down to USB mode (second from bottom) then it woul probably say auto detect. Scroll down to MSC then hit enter. If that doesn't work try MTP mode.
