You can use your phone as a hard drive only when a memory card has been installed on it.
If not you can only download music on your Viewty by using the LG Suite software that came with it which is very slow.
After you have put in a memorycard you have go to PhoneSettings and click or tap"Connection" right below Security. Then tap USB and then MassStorage. Connect the phone to your PC by a USB cable and now you should be able to transfer anything from your pc to your phone by dragging and dropping the songs. You can use control A to copy all the songs.
Hi, Most of the mobile don't need softwares to be installed for transferring pictures to computer from it. Just connect your mobile to computer and select something like "Mass storage mode/ pen drive mode", if prompted anything in your mobile. You should be getting extra pen drive like removable drives in your my computer and all your pictures can be accessed via it. If still you couldn't succeed, then you can remove the memory card from your mobile and connect it to your computer using any memory card reader and can transfer your pictures easily.
You have to do it via your pc as the memory on the phone isn't big enough to receive a bluetooth file. There is NO way of changing the 'save to' to the mem card. So...plug it in to ya pc, click on 'computer' and you will see 'removable disc/mass storage'. They will be named f g or h. One is your phone memory one is your memory card. You can 'right click' files like songs/pics and select 'send to' etc into these files. Then click on f,gor h ( whichever one is your mem card) and you will see the files you placed there. Then just drag them to where they should be like for eg basshunter is a music file so drag it into sounds. If you don't do this, you wont find them in your phone options. Sounds difficult but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad. If you need any more help with it just holla.
