Question about Toshiba 55HX70 55" Rear Projection Television
This is advertised has having a discoloration issue at the bottom of the TV. They state it needs a new "red convergence" and that it's roughly $100. I called some TV places and they estimated the repair as about $400-500. I'm wondering if they have the diagnosis correct and if so, what the average repair would be. If I pay $100 for the TV, I don't want to spend $500 for repairs - I could just get one that works for that much.
A 400-500.00 repair estimate is normal...... which means
the tv has no wholesale, broken value....................T.
