Perhaps you are giving the Print command from Print icon on your Standard toolbar and your document is too big. Try print from the file>Print and select print current page. If the problem persists, reinstall the printer driver after uninstalling it.

Step 1: Open Report (which is you want print)

Step 2: Click on Print (or press Ctrl+P)

Step 3: Now Press Alt+S

Step 4: Select Print from List of printer and enter and accept it

Step 5: You can see preview (if you want)

Step 6: then after press ALT+P

PRINTING ON PAGE IS VERY FADED AND SOME PARTS NOT PRINTING AT ALL


First, checkthat the USB cable is secure in both the printer and the computer and that theprinter is sitting on a flat surface. The printer may not work if it is tilted.

Next, run a printer check to make sure the printer is operational. To run aprinter check, turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the USB cable.Turn on the printer and press the Maintenance button. Use the down arrow buttonon the printer to highlight More Options on the display screen and press OK.Highlight Nozzle Check and press OK twice. If a page prints out, reinstall theR300 software on your computer.
Lines inPrintout
R300 mayproduce printouts with light horizontal lines that are not a part of theprintout. This is called banding and can have several causes. First, trycleaning the printer head to clear any clogged nozzles. To clean the printerhead on the R300, press the down arrow button to highlight More Options andpress OK. Use the arrow buttons to highlight Head Cleaning and press OK twice.The printer will take about 30 seconds to clean the print head, after which youshould run a printer check as described above. If the printout has gaps, pressthe STOP button to run the print head cleaning feature again. Once there are nogaps in the printout, press OK.

If the printout still has banding, open the Print window on your computer andclick on Properties. In the Properties window you can choose the print quality,speed and printer type. Select a higher print quality and a lower speed andmake sure the paper type matches the type you are using for the printout.

Finally, check that the ink cartridges are not empty or close to empty andreplace them as needed.
Faint Printout
If your printout looksfaint or faded when using the R300, try cleaning the print head. Next, replaceany ink cartridges that are old, low on ink or out of ink. Check that the papersetting on the computer matches the type of paper you are using for theprintout.

Another potential cause of faded printouts is incorrectly loaded paper. Sometypes of paper have a printable side that is whiter or shinier on one sidecompared to the other. The printable side of the paper needs to be loaded intothe printer face up.

How to configure printhead alignment


Hi there, Aligning the Print Head

If ruled lines are misaligned or a printout is unsatisfactory,Print Head Alignment is required.

Steps for Aligning the Print Head.
1) Press [Menu] repeatedly until [Maintenance] appears.
2) Press [Maintenance] repeatedly until <P> appears.

3) Press [Black] or [Color].
The machine print the head alignment sheet.

4) Beginning from column A on the printout, enter checkmarks in the patterns that have the most solid image.

5) Load the checked sheet on the Platen Glass.
When loading the checked sheet, place the front side down, and align the upper left corner of the sheet with the alignment mark on the lower right corner of the Platen Glass.

6) Press [Maintenance] repeatedly until <U> appears,

7) Press [Black] or [Color].
The machine scans the pattern and aligns the Print Head automatically.
Note : If you select <L>in step 2, the machine prints the current Print Head Alignment setting.

My 8x10 photos have half a blue tint and half a yellow tint. I cleaned the heads and aligned the print cartridges and that didn't make a difference. Working with a HP2610. Thanks! Leslie


Step 1 - Check the ink levels
  1. Open the Printer Toolbox . There are two ways to do this:Open HP Director , select the Settings menu, then the Print Settings submenu, and finally the Printer Toolbox
    • Open Printers and Faxes in the Windows Control Panel , then right-click your printer icon and choose Properties . Click Printing Preferences . Click the Services tab, then the Service This Device icon.The Printer Toolbox opens. Click the Estimated Ink Level tab. A cartridge may be running out of ink even if the graphic shows ink remaining (see the note at the start of this section). Lines or streaks always appear in printouts when the cartridges begin to run out of ink. Replace print cartridges that are out of ink or low on ink. Step 2 - Check the printer settings
      1. In the program being used for printing, click File , and then click Print The Print window opens.Make sure the appropriate product is selected, and then click Preferences or Properties .The Preferences/Properties window opens.Click the Printing Shortcuts tab.
      2. Consider modifying some or all of the options in the Printing Shortcuts menu to increase print quality.Print quality : If the quality of the printouts is not acceptable, try increasing the print quality. To print more quickly, try decreasing the print quality.Paper type : If one of the options matches the paper type exactly, select it instead of Automatic .Paper size : Make sure that this option matches the paper loaded in the product.To see additional options, click the Advanced tab, and then click Advanced Features .The Advanced Features window opens. Consider changing the following option:Ink volume : Adjust the amount of ink that prints on a page. For lighter images (less ink), drag the slider to the left.       Step 3 - Run the clean print cartridges utility
      1. Press the Setup button.Use the arrow keys to select Tools and then press the OK button.Select Clean Print Cartridge and then press OK . The device prints a test page.Examine the test page. If the print quality of the page is good, stop here. If the print quality is bad, go on to the next step for further cleaning.Open the Printer Toolbox . There are two ways to do this:

      2. Press 1 , 2 , and then 3 . The Service menu appears.

      4. Press OK .
      5. Press the right arrow button (c01150415.jpg ) once. The Print Cartridge menu opens.
      6. Press OK . The diagnostic page prints.

Unexpected size in tray 2


whenever i took printout of a multipage file of Powerpoint. Everytime i have to preses the ok button to proceed with the print. because every page an eror comes displaying on screen of printer "UNEXPECTED SIZE IN TRAY 2" when i press the OK button it start printing the page. everytime i have to press the ok button to take print out. For example if i give a print command to a file that is having 15 pages. i have to press 14 times the ok button to complete the printing of 15 pages. pls help me in this

Photosmart C6180 will not print in black ink. Have all HP genuine cartridges, although I have used cheaper imitations in the past. Have tried aligning print heads, cleaning, master reset (# & 6...


do not print the printout from the pc.tyr to print a test copy by pressing the menu button on the printer and in that select the option print a self test.then press OK.if the test copy from printer gives proper black colour then its the print setting problem in the pc.just adjust that setting.but if the test page does not print any black line or object that means the cartridge is out of ink and needs replacement.

I have a HP Professional Deskjet 1220C. It starts off printing full colour images ok but about a quarter of the way through it starts printing in red. Please help me.


Try the following below if it continues to print in red half way through then either your ink carts have expired or something is wrong with them if you are using coral draw to print images there is know problems with that I have listed the solution to that as well. please tell the results of the test page as well please. and also I have included a few other tests please run through these. The sample page can be used as a quick check of the image quality from the black and color print cartridges. Unlike most printing, this page prints from the bottom of the page to the top for user viewing during printing.
  1. Turn the printer off and then turn it on again by pressing the POWER button.
  2. Press and hold down the RESUME button and release it when the Power light starts to blink.
The sample page can also be printed from the Toolbox (provided the Toolbox is installed) to verify that the printer is connected to the computer properly and that the printer and printer software are working properly.
  1. Double-click the Toolbox icon on the Desktop or run it from the HP Deskjet 1220C Printer program group.
  2. Select the Printer Services tab and click Print a Test Page

Printing the diagnostic page The information displayed on the diagnostic page includes the printer model, serial number, service ID (born-on date), firmware revision, total page count and last error code (see Figure 2). If an error code (hex) number is displayed, it represents the last error that occurred regardless of whether the problem that caused the error has been fixed and the printer is presently operational. To print a diagnostic page see the following:
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the RESUME button four times.
  4. Release the POWER button.
Running the pen recovery diagnostic test If printouts have incomplete text or graphics that are not corrected by cleaning the print cartridges, use the pen recovery diagnostic test. The pen recovery diagnostic test is a three-level cleaning procedure that attempts to clear blocked print cartridge nozzles. The tests can be run either from the Toolbox under Printer Services or by pressing the button sequences below. The Level 1 print cartridge cleaning is a light cleaning mode. Use this level first to clear blocked nozzles.
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the CANCEL button twice.
  4. Release the POWER button.
After running the Level 1 print cartridge cleaning routine, run the nozzle pattern test explained in the "Printing the nozzle pattern test" section below to verify that the cartridge has recovered. If no irregular gaps are present on the printout of the nozzle pattern test, the print cartridge has recovered. If there are irregular gaps in the printout, run the Level 2 pen recovery. The Level 2 cleaning is an intermediate cleaning mode to be used if the Level 1 mode does not recover the nozzles.
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the CANCEL button twice and the RESUME button once.
  4. Release the POWER button.
After running the Level 2 print cartridge cleaning routine, run the nozzle pattern test explained in the "Printing the nozzle pattern test" section below to verify that the cartridge has recovered. If no irregular gaps are present on the printout of the nozzle pattern test, the print cartridge has recovered. If there are irregular gaps in the printout, run the Level 3 pen recovery. The Level 3 cleaning is the most intensive cleaning mode that takes about two minutes to complete. Use this level as a last resort in recovering clogged nozzles. This routine uses a considerable amount of ink.
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the CANCEL button twice and the RESUME button twice.
  4. Release the POWER button.
After running the Level 3 print cartridge cleaning routine, run the nozzle pattern test explained in the "Printing the nozzle pattern test" section below to verify that the cartridge has recovered. If no irregular gaps are present on the printout of the nozzle pattern test, the print cartridge has recovered. If irregular gaps still appear in the printout, replace the cartridge. NOTE: Do not use the pen recovery tests unnecessarily or the life of the print cartridge will be shortened. Printing the nozzle pattern test This test prints a pattern to determine which nozzles, if any, are clogged or not firing and can be used to verify a successful cleaning routine (see Figure 3). Look for irregular spaces or gaps in the test pattern; these indicate faulty nozzles.
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the CANCEL button eight times and the RESUME button four times.
  4. Release the POWER button.
Printing the calibration page This test provides calibration of the print cartridges. Calibration includes print cartridge alignment and optimizing the turn-on energy for the installed color print cartridge.
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the RESUME button three times.
  4. Release the POWER button.
Eight green checks, one on each line of the printout, signify that the calibration was successful. ----------------------------------------------------- Printing the infinite H test This test prints continuous pages of the letter H and is useful for troubleshooting paper feed problems or other intermittent problems that are difficult to replicate.
  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Press and hold down the POWER button.
  3. While holding down the POWER button, press the RESUME button eight times.
  4. Release the POWER button
  5. Press and release the POWER button to terminate the test.
