My 92 yr old neighbor had her battery run down on her ''On-Time'' atomic watch. I replaced the battery 4 days ago and it has not reset the time. I am located in Muncie, IN. and the watch worked prior.

No reason to panic. First - replace the battery for another one, as the one you fitted can be on low. After replacing set the time manually. Within few days watch will start to receive signals and will reset itself to correct time.

I have a 3054. About 3 days ago it reset to 1-1-2005 and has never changed. it now reads 1-3-2005 at 5:57 PM

This same problem (watch resetting to 1/1/205) has happened to me 2x now, about 2 months or so apart.

I have had this watch for ~10+ years now, and works perfectly.

I have replaced the battery 2x.

Again, the watch works great.

I just realized that in the .pdf manual, there is no indication for a "low-battery" condition.

I am guessing that the "low-battery" is what is causing the watch to reset the date/time to 1/1/2005.

Any others having this same problem if this watch resetting to 1/1/2005 after the watch has run just great (auto time syncing, etc.)?

This watch Keeps great time!

How to set your Global Atomic G-Force digital watch

This watch says "Strong Ideas" on the back instead of a 4 digit number.

Press LIGHT briefly and your LCD will be back lit for 5 seconds.

Press MODE to cycle through normal, alarm, dual time, and stopwatch display mode.

Hold MODE for 3 seconds to enable the radio to receive time signals. Once RC is activated, the watch will search for time signal automatically every day.
Hold LIGHT for 8 seconds to disable the RC function.
Press MODE, SET, and ADJUST simultaneously to reset the watch.

Press ADJUST while in normal mode to toggle year/time display.
Press SET while in year display to alternate Month-Day or Day-Month.

Hold SET for 2 seconds while in normal mode to cycle through world atomic radios (US/GB/DE/JP) push ADJUST to change, and SET to continue. Next the language will flash (GB/FR/DE/ES/IT). Next is DST on/off. Next, in order are hour, minute, second, year, month, day, and 12/24 Hr format.
(US only) Press SET to display timezone. The default is PA, use the ADJUST button to cycle through MO, CE, or EA as desired.

Press SET while in alarm mode to toggle alarm on/off.
Hold SET for 2 seconds while in alarm mode to change the hour and minute with the ADJUST button.

Press SET for 2 seconds while in dual time mode and ADJUST +/- 23 hours from normal time.

Press MODE to exit most settings.

Press ADJUST in stopwatch mode to start/stop the timer accumulatively.
Press SET to reset stopwatch to zero, or split measurements if timer is running.

Change the battery with a new CR2025 to prevent damage that low or dead batteries can cause by leaking.
Do not use solvents to clean the watch, use only a dry or water moistened cloth.
Do not use buttons when the watch is wet. Water may penetrate the watch and cause damage to it.

I have a one year old berenger atomic time watch that has stopped working last week. May I perhaps need to get a new battery/ What does radio controlled watch mean? Thanks

I would try replacing the battery in your watch to see if it comes back to life. So-called "atomic watches" have tiny radio receivers in them that periodically listen for the official atomic time being broadcast via WWVB in Colorado. However, as you might imagine, it takes a lot more power to operate a radio receiver than it does to power a typical quartz wristwatch, and even with larger-capacity or double batteries, it's been my experience that these watches burn through batteries more quickly than traditional "set them yourself" watches.
An additional factor is that a watch that cannot find the WWVB signal will scan for long periods of time before putting its radio receiver into hibernate mode. So, if your watch has been stored in a basement, an interior room in a large building, or some other place where a radio signal can't penetrate, that would also shorten the watch's battery life.

The invicta 4048 is an atomic watch with 4 buttons only. I need to know how to set this watch. Previous experts have refered me to the standard Invicta instructions PDF. The atomic watch is not covered...

The Invicta Atomic 4048 is "discontinued", and Invicta is not very helpful. They do NOT offer an instruction manual for the 4048, because it's discontinued. You can call Invicta at 800-327-7682 then you have to ask for "Melvin" who only works until 1PM eastern time. OR you can do the following:
Hold down the 8 0'clock button until it flashes, select 12hour or 24hour preference, use the button at 4 o'clock to select your time zone (GMT) The watch should reset itself to your GMT time.
