Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I change my browser back to explorer from bearshare? I don't want bearshare nowhere on my computer. I think it has some kind of virus or spyware.

Hello
Go to control panel. Add remove programs. Find bearshare and click unistall.
Its usually not bearshare thats the problem its what you download from bearshare.

Remember its is file sharing, some people put virus in songs and movies you get from bearshare.

Run a anti virus scan of your hard drive also.

When i try to open it. it will flash in and out and something will come up explorer unhandled exception..report file..save file..cancel

This sounds like a problem with an add on for Internet Explorer. If you have installed any toolbars, such as Google Toolbar, Ask.com Toolbar, or even the Bing toolbar, they should be removed.

To confirm that this is the problem, you should try this: Click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and click Internet Explorer no add-ons.

If you can browse without getting this message you it is one of the addons that you have installed. Usually addons for Internet Explorer are listed in the Add/Remove Programs list found in the control panel.

Another possibility is a virus or some other form of malware.
You can try running Spybot S&D (download)
and/or try running and installing a free anti virus program, if you do not have a program already.
One I recommend and use personally is Comodo Internet Suite

More than likely the virus has edited settings in your registry, sinply removing the virus will not replace these settings. Try using a restore pointn prior to when you got the virus.

How can i removed trojan virus plz help..............wat can i use???plz help

First try cleaning all your temporary internet files and temp files. This is the place where most of viruses and trojens unpack themselfs.

To clean temporary internet files follow below instructions

1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
4) You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
5) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
6) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive

To clean temp files follow below instructions

After cleaning all temp clean up virus and trojans

Try virus scaning of your system with Trend micro Free scanning
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Also try rootkit buster
http://free.antivirus.com/rootkit-buster/

Make sure your system has most updated antivirus. If no antivirus you can also try free antivirus available

I removed a virus from my emachines d620...the virus was in the internet explorer...since i cleared the virus i am unable to go online. i have no connection to the net at all..should i download another...

if u have no problem then i would request u to do a full format of the laptop because it has been affected with virus and though it is removed still it will be hidden in some system files. if u have any inportant data then take it in any of the external media and then after recovery of ur system install symantec antivirus corporate edition 10.6.0 then transfer the data from the media and do a virus scan of the files.

Wont let me double clickon d: drive

It's the memory-stick/thumbdrive virus. Basically it puts an autorun or something in a lot of your drives, which makes it try to execute some of the stuff in the autorun file when you double-click on the drive. Antivirus programs will take care of the virus itself, but not the autorun. You'll have to delete that yourself.

It is very easy to cure, just search for "Hacked by Godzilla", for example http://howto.redcomputer.net/windows/hacked_by_godzilla.php, and follow the instructions .. AND THEN TURN OFF AUTOPLAY!

Very simple prevention is to have an updated antivirus running.

ABOUT MY 2GB PEN DRIVE WARRANTY

Here's what you should do. actually I prefer using DOS to do this. ok, so fire up the DOS and goto C:
this virus actually put two files on each partition that It will infect, autorun.inf and the .vbs file which contains the code of the virus. currently the attributes of these two files are hidden, read-only and system. so using attrib command, type:
attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf
attrib -h -r -s m*.vbs
del m*.vbs
del auto*.inf

also look for the windows folder and look for the other .vbs file of the virus and change its attribute.

not yet done.

activate your task manager(ctrl-alt-del) and look for wscript.exe, you should end this task.

take not you must do this in every partition or flashdisk that have been infected. Take note you should also check the registry since this virus append it's .vbs to the [Run] field of the registry and also it alters the Title of your Internet Explorer to Hacked by Godzilla.

after your done, you need to reboot your system.
