The card format for ASUS A626 is one of the most wide-spread among PDAs – SD/MMC with SDIO support. Please be ensure that you are using only the Card that is supported by your PDA. The biggest memory card you can use with the A626 should be the most capacious unit on the market

Cards 4GB in size are SDHC and an updated driver is required..
You can either download and install the SDHC patch
http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/IA/Cannes/A6X6_SDHC.rar

or the updated ROM image

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Asus A626 won't charge.

Power supply problems are relatively common with ASUS products like this one it should be covered under warranty and be easily replaceable if not simply order one online.

(it is rare for the device itself to have charging issues, unless it was dropped in which case that could be a possible explanation)

I am trying to connect my asus mypal to my wireless internet

Hi, I helped a friend of mine with his wifi setup. His WEP Key was on the side of his router. I don't remember the exact work but it was something Key. It was 10 numbers long just right for a 64 bit key. If you are using Win XP there is a wifi setup in there. I have a mypal A626 and had it up and running in a few minutes on my wifi system. If you have security, you will need to find the code in order to get a connection. grader01

Cannot remove the calendar events

Did your friend do a "hard reset" of the PDA before she gave it to you? A hard reset should erase all user settings and data, returning the system to its default state.

The ASUS 626 User Manual (Ch. 1, Pg. 4) refers to this process as a "clean reset". The following instructions were extracted from the user guide:

NOTE To perform a clean reset, press the launch button and
simultaneously pressing the stylus on the reset switch. Then
a warning message appears. Press to do clean reset, or
press to leave the operation screen.
Performing a soft reset will not change the data in the device;
while performing a clean reset will delete all data

ASUS A626 Wireless 802.11b/g

It doesnt go thru walls very well, 5m seems the limit with deteriorating signal. Rather get your wireless router out into the open (not hiddden behind a computer desk) and the antenna pointing in the direction of the other one. There is a signal strenght utility that asus has that stays resident as an app. use that to assertain your signal viability
