My pc got infected with a worm -Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger

My pc got infected with a worm (i think from an e-mail), called Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger, I believe the computer has a firewall and anti-virus protection (it was a hand-me-down from a friend). I immediately disconnected (ether-net cable) from internet but the machine has all but froze up. HELP! Thanks, Dave.

I have an older Dell 8100 that is infected, I cannot use it.

It might be really what it says, but chances are you have accidentally started a "fake virus scam" malware, that acts a bit like a virus, but with an added function of luring you into paying for some miraculous anti-virus, that will cure your computer of the multiple "infections" it has allegedly "discovered".
If you can open Internet Explorer, you may try one of the online virus scanners available. If not, the only thing left is to prepare on a clean computer a startup antivirus CD, from which you could boot your computer and run an antivirus program.

Free Online scanners:

Free boot antivirus products (CD image to burn):

Laptop infected with worm.

Nortons sucks. you should try an anti-virus scan with Malwarebytes, then you should install Avast as your resident protection.

Be sure, when uninstalling Nortons, to use the uninstallation tool found on the nortons site. if you use the regular windows uninstaller, it will not remove all of it, and it will slow your computer down.

Laptop infected with worm? Help

No virus checker catches them all, and frankly, Norton 360 is pretty weak. Try running AVG, which is downloadable and free.

Ytbb.exe is infected with worm Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger can't get any of my desktop icons. It's like my PC is frozen on this blue screen.

You need to get an antivirus program on a CD, boot your computer with the AV in the CD-Rom, and then do a scan. Clean the infection, boot the computer, and run the AV again
