No you don't. Use a shop vac, and vac out the waste toner, and put it back. Or dump it into a bag outside.

SOURCE: replace waste toner container on lanier 6625

Can you verify the model number once again? If there are letters in the model number, that would help as well.

Is the copier black and white or color?

SOURCE: Sharp MX 2300N - Toner

REPLACING THE WASTE TONER BOX
The waste toner box collects residual toner that is produced during printing. When the used toner box is full, the display
will show "Replace used toner container". Follow the procedure below to replace the used toner box.
Open the front cover.2
Release the used waste toner box.
The waste toner box will fall forward as shown.
Gently support the box with your hands as you let it fall forward
as far as it will go.
fmtx.png Remove the waste toner box.
Hold the box by both hands and lift it up slowly.
If the waste toner box falls too far forward, it will not be possible
to remove it. (Remove the box when it is at an angle of about
30 degrees.)
Install the new waste toner box.
Insert the box from above at a slant. (The direction opposite to
when you removed it.)
Push the waste toner box into the
machine.
Push the box in until it clicks into place.
Close the front cover

Hope this helps.

OLLIVETTI 2500 ERROR CODE C0630?

Error code C0630 on an Olivetti D-Copia 2500 multifunction printer typically indicates a problem with the toner cartridge or the waste toner container. This error can be caused by a number of different issues, including a low toner level, a problem with the toner cartridge or waste toner container, or a problem with the printer's sensor or control board.
Here are a few steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
  • Check the toner level in the cartridge and replace the cartridge if it is low.
  • Make sure that the toner cartridge is properly installed and that all of the connections are secure. If the error persists after replacing the cartridge, the new one might be faulty.
  • Check the waste toner container, if your printer has one, and make sure it is properly installed and not full.
  • Clean the toner sensor if there is one and check for any debris or foreign objects that may be causing the error.
  • If the problem persists, it's possible that there is a malfunction in other parts of the machine such as the control board.
It's recommended that you check the printer manual or contact Olivetti Support for more specific instructions or troubleshooting steps that can help identify the cause of the issue. They can also assist you in determining if it would be better to repair or replace the machine.

Changing waste container

The is no waste container on Phaser 6500. There is a "waste collection box" in every toner cartridge and the waste toner is discarded along with the empty cartridge. The is also a waste toner reservoir on the transfer belt and this one will be replaced along with the transfer belt.

If there is an error message saying, for example, "Waste Full Cyan Cartridge", it means the waste toner counter reached the replacement value for that color and you have to replace the corresponding cartridge. But the waste collection box is not really full.

I have just replaced my imaging unit - now it wants me to replace/install waste toner bin

When the life span of the waste toner container has expired or it's full, the smart panel program window appears on the computer, indicating the waste toner container needs to be replaced. Otherwise your machine stops printing.

To replace it follow these instructions:
-Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to cool.
-Using the handle, completely open the front cover.
-Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.
-Remove the container's cap from the container, and use it to close the waste toner container opening. Do not tilt or turn over the container.
-Take a new waste toner container out of its package.
-Insert the new container into position and then push it to make sure that it is firmly seated in place.
-Close the front cover firmly. If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not operate. -Please make sure all toner cartridges are installed properly. If any toner cartridge is installed improperly, the front cover do not close.
-Turn the machine on.

The screen on my Phaser 6110 MFP says "Remove/Install Waste toner tank." I don't know what that is.

The life of the waste toner container unit is approximately 1,250 pages

for full color 5% image printing or 5,000 images for black printing. When

the life span of the waste toner container has expired, Replace/Install

Waste Toner Tank appears on the display of the control panel,

indicating the waste toner container needs to be replaced. Otherwise

your printer stops printing.

To replace the waste toner container:

1 Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to

cool.

2 Open the front cover.

3 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

4 Remove the container's cap from the container as shown below,

and use it to close the waste toner container opening.

5 Take a new waste toner container out of its package.

Tip

Make sure that you lay the waste toner container on a flat

surface so that the toner does not spill.

Caution

Do not tilt or turn the tank over.

6 Insert the new container into position and then push it to make sure

that it is firmly seated in place.

7 Close the front cover firmly.

8 Turn the machine on.

Caution

If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not

operate.

Tip

After rebooting, your machine will automatically reset the
counter for the waste toner container

Message: drum full of waste toner. replace drum cart. Does this mean it's time to replace the drum cartridge or do we just empty the overflow? Please e-mail [email protected]

Empty the container that holds the "waste" toner.
You may have to use the controls on the printer to say that you have emptied the container, because the printer is "estimating" (not actually "measuring") how full the container has become, based on the number of pages that have been printed.

Phaser 7300N - Where is the waste toner container?

That machine does not have a waste toner container like the xerox phaser 7400. What it does is all the waste toner is cleaned at the IBT belt. If you remove your IBT belt part number 016-2000-00 you will see there is a plastic container at the end and that is where the wast toner is.

Toshiba E-Studio 202L cartridge does not match manufacture

Did you replace the waste (used) toner cartridge or the empty toner cartridge? These copiers have 2 "cartridges" .... one is waste (used) toner, the other is "new" toner for copying / printing etc. Some newer copiers have All in One units....Drum, New Toner, Waste (used) Toner. If you replaced the Waste Toner container (or dumped it) that should reset the code or error message.

Laserwriter 8500 prints splotches all over the page.

Toner bubbles are characterized by large blotches of color toner on
printed pages caused by color toner leaking from cartridges directly
onto the transfer drum.

Solve the problem of toner bubbles by checking the manufacturing
codes on the toner cartridges and replacing cartridges as needed. Compatible carts are notoroius for this so don't use them.

Heat-stamped on the toner cartridge, opposite the label-end of the
cartridge, is a manufacturing code. If a portion of the code does not
match the list below, replace the toner cartridge.

Use toner cartridges that contain any of the following manufacturing
codes:
 9I
 9J
 9K
 9L
and any cartridge that begins with the numbers 0 through 6 in place of
