If there is a side panel pop-out it can. You will also need an elbow adapter to reroute the vent line behind the dryer, to turn towards the side of the dryer. Most dryers have an option to exhaust from the back or the side.

Keep in mind, a new dryer at peak performance is only able to exhaust air in a "STRAIGHT" line 90 feet away. The more bends you add to the exhaust that are unnecassary, will decrease the performance of your dryer.

Please don't forget to rate "jsrock516's" solution, His is perfectly on point.

Not likely such a thing. The funny shape probably has something to do with the air passages.

I have mislaid the instructions for my Genesis Miami gas fire, and need to relay the ceramic logs. can anyone please help?

This will depend on whether the fireplace is vented or is vent-free. Vent-free gas fireplaces are sold as a kit with the valve, burner, media (logs, glass, shapes, etc) all designed for a particular placement to work together to reduce dangerous chemicals. A vent-free burner and valve cannot have the logs removed and replaced with some other type of ceramic gas log because the exact placement of the logs is designed around the ports in the burner where the flames rise to minimize carbon created from the flames touching the logs.

If your fireplace is vented then the pull of the flue will remove dangerous fumes created by the same placement so there are no rules about re-arranging or replacing "media". If the fireplace is vented then you could use other log-placement-guides to identify the type of log and where it belongs with little worry because vented logs are designed to be able to have some adjustment anyway.

If vent-free and without a manual, an educated technician should do this for you because the BTU setting on the valve must be compared to the types of burners, port placement, size of ports, amount of ports and flame height. After this examination, someone familiar with the various hidden "tongue-and-groove" etchings in different types of gas logs can figure-out where to place the logs. They may have to test the fireplace burning once or twice to get it exactly correct but once you understand the idea of how a vent-free gas log diminishes the carbon-output of the amount of gas flowing through the burners then it is only a matter of watching the flames to see where the logs could be and comparing the size and layout of the logs to find the best fit.

The vent pipe CAN NOT touch the wall stud. You can cut back the fiberglass insulation, but it must be a minimum of 6" away from the vent pipe on all sides.

My heat works on passenger side but not on my driver side nor defrost, which blows out cold air

Back behind and under the dash panel is a venting system. In the venting, there are blender doors. These doors move to different positions for different air flow directions. These doors are moved by acutators. These doors can get stuck! The actuators that move them can also become faulty but not as common as the door getting stuck. The worst part is removing all the venting to get to the blending door.

Some Kenmore dryers have a knockout at the back, lower corner that can be "knocked out". If you have one of these it can be vented out through the side. If the knockout is there, a kit is available for the venting. Just go to www.sears.com and under the parts direct tab enter your model number aka 000.00000, and search out the kit.

If it's designed to change, there will be metal plate on the side that you remove and place over the back outlet (remove vent hose), then move the vent hose to the side and hook it up.

Central air running all day and not cooling properly...

Did you fix the problem with the fan. Some times the placement of the fan blade up or down influences he air flow. May not be moving enough air across the coil. Sounds like it is over heating the compressor. To much amperage. You also may be losing conductivity of the condensor. When they get ols the fins go bad and loose conductivity. Also check capacitor it may be weak and causing compressor to pull to much amps. The capacitor starts the unit and also lowers the running amps by pulling the start windings in phase with the run winding. Russ
