Printing out thepictures

Towards the end of printing the page, a black line, or bar in black prints out before the picture is completed....The printed black is less than 1/2 inch wide, and run the entire length of the photo from top to bottom....then the printer continues to print out the balance of the photo.....Would it help to uninstall the printer, and install it again. Thankyou in Portland, Oregon

Try printing the picture from another program. Or with less resolution.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the printer and downloading the latest drivers from the HP website.

My mp610 Canon printer will no longer print email documents (black)- leaves page blank, except for email address (in blue print)., But printer will still print satisfactory color pictures (Photos). B

Get the latest driver from Canon's web site. Then uninstall the printer. Remove the driver from your computer. Use regedit to remove any traces of your printer from your registry. Install the new driver. That should do it.

Not knowing what type of printer, and since you've tried another casrtridge, this problem is almost certainly the fuser. This will require a technician, or if it is a lower end printer, cheaper to replace it.
