Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive
There are several chances ...may be the disk space is full check it.. there may be bad sectors formation in that just give "check for errors" .. after fixing the error give full format and then give a try .. or may be operating system problem just give a try in another pc...
most probably it works if u format and use.. or it will work in other pc...(may be os problem is there in ur pc)

What u need is low level formating. xp and almost all operationg systems see the flash drive as a hard drive and therefore are incapable of fixing the problem. One good way to fix this is to low level format the drive the way they do it at the factory thats the secret alot of people are not aware of. speeking for myself i have a trek 8 gig flash drive from TOSHIBA with this problem. i mean the computer would see and recognze that drive but could not read or write to it . It would give an I/O error. After long hours of seaching i came accross a solution that worked for me. Its safe to asume that i was not the only person with this problem.Heres the site i used to get the free download of this low level miracle formating software. http://files.filefront.com/LLFsetup2361181exe/;7310930;/fileinfo.html
GOOD LUCK ! WORKS LIKE A CHARM.

you can try run check hard drive changes,
and let the O/S pick it up, if not pick from the list of hardware devices, choose
usb mass storage, click on it and look for the maker name, pick your model.
if this those not work, run the driver from the cd that came with the USB device.
if not you will have to go for a update from O/S provider.
