Directly from the supplies HP all you have to do is give them you model number (ze4200) and they can get the power unit for you or maybe you can try smaller retailers in order to maybe negotiate a good price. thanks

HP PAVILLION Dm4 BATTERY NOT CHARGING

When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

My hp pavilion ze4200 has a broken power jack, as far as I can tell the metal part of the jack is not broken, but rather the backing is snapped and when I tried putting in me power cord it just got pushed...

You might destroy it further. Take it to a CERTIFIED computer repair store expert. You should be able to get it fixed WITH labor for about...$120.00

I bought a new ac charger for my hp pavillion dv1000 it will not power on

Check and make sure the Voltage on the AC adapter is the exact same as your previous one. Just because the connector fits in the port, doesn't mean it's the right one. Look in your manual to figure out if your AC adapter voltage is correct. If it is, it's possible that you have a dead battery, it happens when surges happen during power outages. If it's so, look on the HP website for a new replacement battery. It should allow you to type in your pavillion model number.

Hi...

If your laptop is under warranty go back to the manufacturer. If not go to hp center and buy a power cord of your charger which is totally fix to the charging hole.

Good luck
