Question about Canon PIXMA iP3000 InkJet Photo Printer
I have also a problem with the paper feed. With plain paper there is no problem but with photo paper 180 gr. the transport is failing. Then I have to pull the paper out of the printer and try it again. Sometimes the print is o.k. after 3 efforts (My English is not very good so I find it difficult to explain.) I think that paper of 180 gr. is too thick voor the printer.
You need to clean the paper feeder to remove a film of dirt that is causing the problem, also bend the thick paper on the edge of where the portion is inserted to ease the stress of taking the paper in... Lubricate the gears and traction mechanisms of the paper feeder to function properly and to last longer...
Hope this Fixya the problem... Goodluck
